Safrac, you've heard that there is a reclusive monk in Westcrown, now retired but occasionally willing to teach some techniques against otherworldly opponents. You've just arrived in town and stopped for an ale at the Broad Face, and overheard some of the conversation. These 'shadow beasts' sure sound interesting.

And for anyone interested, the Broad Face is the pub in which I have occasionally shared a drink and a chat with no less than Terry Pratchett!!

Thank you, I suspected this might have been the one, but wanted to make sure. I have now posted twice in the thread, and hope that the character will be well received.

Should there be room...I would like to throw out a character idea. A Half-Orc Cavalier who only became a cavalier because he injured his leg while training to be an assassin. So now he walks with a noticable limp and is next to worthless unless he is mounted. His disability led him to become a top notch horseman and swordsman, but unmounted he fumbles more than he strikes. If you like him I will flesh him out with stats, gear, wealth, etc. Thank you.
