The silliest characters I've ever seen played...
Were, not surprisingly, a quartet of gnomes. There was a bard, an illusionist, a druid, and a drunkard (the last being a description of both the player and character).
The druid had a giant tortoise as a familiar. The gnomes insisted that it should pull their familial carriage. As a group, they pooled all their wealth by level to buy things, and spent more than half of it on one use items like "Soverign Glue" and "Dust of Itching". Another large portion ended up being spent on the tortoise, because the campaign took place in an artic environment.
Then they invested in headgear that let them all speak and understand tortoise. Which they invented a specific spell for, because Speak With Animal was "too broad, and doesn't acknowledge Mr. Shelley's innate personhood"
Their weapon of choice? Fireworks. Not the spell, but actual fireworks. The number of times these connected successfully? Once. It lead to a colossal Roc being knocked sensless and squashing another party member.
To this day, we threaten to rebuild those characters whenever our DMs irritate us.

Clockwork-Thief who defecates all over stuff as his calling card. He also deficates when the clock strikes noon.
Screwup-Icedwarf from a rare and reclusive race of dwarves. He only speaks his language and he screws up almost everything possible. He is currently a companion to our party in one of our games. He trips, alerts guards, farts in fancy public events, embarasses the party, endangers the party etc..
Carl the half ork- My boyfriends pc. He is based off of Carl from aqua teen. Ork spelled that way on purpose.
There is one, I forgot her name, but she has EVERY disease in the DnD realm and somehow avoids the death effects. Her combat style revolves around cutting herself and throwing the infected daggers. She is also NASTY. Sneaking in the enemies area to infect their toothbrushes or spit in their mouths.
A 90 year old human parapelegic that the players must bring along. GM's PC. He throws his prescription meds at the enemies hoping they will overdose. He also has a "run over toes with his powerscooter" melee attack.
