Elemental Body - Earth Elemental and Push ability

The Elemental Body I-IV spell allows the form of an Earth Elemental
gaining the Push Ability.

Yet, Earth Elementals don't have the Push ability.
So do I ignore that part of the spell, or do Elemental-Body-Earth-Elementals have that ability, while real Earth Elementals don't?

Elemental Body
Earth Elemental
Push

Earth elementals do have improved bull rush though, and greater bull rush and awesome blow -- the spell giving the push ability is simply to represent the use of these feats.

that is neat but according to the universal monster rules the distance pushed back with "push" is normally fixed and listed. If the elemental body does not specify then do we just make it work as a usual bull rush does?

Well that's a brand new question isn't it?

I would suggest that since the push ability states that it is a special bull rush maneuver that without a listed distance you would default to the bull rush rules -- however nothing in the rules supports or defies this recommendation.

At any rate an answer from the developers would be 'needed' on this question since the push ability states it needs a distance and the ability from the spell doesn't state what that distance is.

However you would gain the ability since the spell specifies you do so.

I checked the Bestiary and Bestiary 2 and the Bonus Bestiary for examples.
There is the Agathion, Cetaceal with 10 feet and the example of push in the universal Monster Rules with 10 feet. So i will go with 10 feet.
