"Song of the Beast-Gods" is a new stand-alone sword and sorcery adventure module for character levels 2-3, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and usable with any fantasy roleplaying game.
The land of Yar-Ammon is old -- and even older are its gods. In the desert city of Khadis, a colossal faceless sphinx broods over empty altars and forbidden secrets. Hungry beasts gather ever closer to the city gates, while strange plots are afoot in the royal palace. Legacies from the past haunt an old king, and the sinister priests of Zothur watch from the shadows of the throne. Can you unravel the mysteries of accursed Khadis -- and live to tell the tale?
With wilderness travel, palace intrigue, and dungeon crawling, "Song of the Beast-Gods" has something for everyone!
The book is available both as a PDF and in print. Check out this page for more information:

Sounds fascinating. Could you share a few details about the setting?

Also I found this quote from Bill Webb about these guys from Bill's FrogGod Games website.
"Morten Braten's site--check this stuff out, its pure S&S in a very Howard/Ashton Smith style). Morten wrote Mesopotamia while working with Necromancer Games, and has a fantastic book on Lulu (Spider God's Bride--gets a "10" from the Frog)."

The adventure takes place in the World of Xoth, an original sword and sorcery setting inspired in part by Howard's Hyboria, Smith's Zothique, Leiber's Nehwon, Carter's Lemuria, Saunders' Nyumbani, and the Wilderlands from Judges Guild. And perhaps a little bit of Lovecraft's Dreamlands.
In short, if you like vintage sword and sorcery, you should enjoy this. Of course, it's not difficult to use the adventure in your own campaign setting, although the text makes some assumptions about the types of magic and monsters that is common.
The previous book, "The Spider-God's Bride", was a collection of 10 adventures and also contained a fair bit of background material. On the product page for that book
http://xoth.net/publishing/xp1
there is a free preview that you can download, and the first 10 pages or so of that preview contains background material that should give you a feel for the setting.
