Slumber Hex Tack-ons?

I didn't want to resurrect an old thread, and didn't find one specifically addressing this in its entirety, so...

1. In the APG, the Dreamspeaker elf racial trait variant reads:

"Elves with this racial trait add +1 to saving throw DCs for spells of the divination school and sleep effects they cast."

Since it says "and sleep EFFECTS," would that apply to Slumber?

2. Cheesily, would Spell Focus (enchantment) apply to Slumber (Su), as it functions as the spell sleep?

3. Would taking a level of Fey Bloodline Sorcerer add +2 to the DC? If "No" to #2, then likely not for this. Sorcerer reads:

"Bloodline Arcana: Whenever you cast a spell of the compulsion subschool, increase the spell’s DC by +2."

4. Ability Focus, in the Bestiary, seems to apply as well, is this correct?

5. Are there any other ways to boost the DC for Slumber?

1. Not completely sure; you don't exactly 'cast' a Hex so i'd be inclined to say no.

2. No its not a spell.

4. In theory yes.

5. More levels/intelligence.

I didn't think 2 or 3 were possible, but it was worth asking. I think the relevant implications are in the magic section.

I wonder if we could get an official ruling on #1...
(My group tends to be heavier on RAW than RAI when it comes to feats and tactical options, but more freeform with skills and story-relevant stuff.)

Yeah, for regular play it seems to work fine, but not for PFS. Still, would love to find out about the elf variant, as it would help determine between human and elf... both concepts fit, but that free +1 DC would be nice.
