Alternate payment methods?

My appoligies if I post it in the wrong sub-forum, but this seemed the most fitting at first glance.

I was wondering wether it is possible for Paizo to introduce alternate payment methods, like paybycash or in my case specifically I would like to pay with iDeal. I do not own a creditcard and likely will not get one, but it keeps me from buying the occasional pdf or other product from Paizo directly.

I am not sure wether it is worthwhile for Paizo to consider this or have considered this before, but I'd appreciate some feedback on the possibilities.

Have you looked at getting a debit card? If you have cash, then you can get a bank account, which gives you a Debit card. Assuming that is that you are in the US.

There are also the pre paid VISA/MASTERCARD cards out there. I have seen them for various amounts $50 or $100.

I haven't seen pre-paid cards here in the netherlands, I did use the paybycash method before for online gaming payments or in a few cases paypal.

I am not sure wether it is convenient for paizo to look into alternate ways to pay for it's products, but I figured it was worth a question.

The only payment methods we accept are Visa, MasterCard, or store credit. We will also accept a check or Money order, in US funds, for a domestic, non-subscription, shipment, but this doesn't really help you. In our FAQ we point out a means to use PayPal, but this is really just using PayPal to get a MasterCard.

We have explored various alternative payment methods in the past (and are always willing to check them out again), but they invariably have wound up being incompatible with our business model in one way or another.

By the sounds of it, your best bet is probably to explore the PayPal debit card option.
