At 1st Level, an Eidolon can have up to 3 attacks possible due to 1 point evolutions. They are all listed as primary.
For example the one I am building has 1 bite and 2 claws (Quadrapede base form)
Does that mean he has 3 attacks a round? Or, because they are all primary attacks, he can only attack with 1 a round? I ask this because the Claw evolution grants 2 claws and both are primary attacks. This means that if you take that evolution you would get 2 possible attacks that are identical but could only use 1 a round.
Can someone help clear this up?

You get all 3 attacks. Whether an attack is primary or secondary determines the bonus to hit and how much strength is applied to damage.
Primary attacks you the full bonus to attack and full strength bonus to damage.
Secondary attacks have a -5 to it and only 1/2 strength bonus applies to damage.
The full description of how they work can be found here.

On a related side note, you might want to remember that attacking with more than one natural or manufactured attack in a turn, requires the full attack action (or a charge with pounce). Thus you can only make all the above 3 attacks, if you take a full attack action, and if you take a standard action to attack, then u can choose which of the attacks to specificly use in that situation.

That much I remember. Thanks.
Gonna have to get pounce ASAP for the guy when I can.

That's why I prefer the make my eidolon with a single, but very powerful, attack. Since I always give Endurance and Die Hard to my eidolon, it suffers less from the staggered condition.

Makes sense. I am going more for the chainsaw style with this one.
If I give an Eidolon the Increased Damage evolution and apply it to Claws, does it effect 1 claw or both (ie increase the damage die of only 1 of the 2 claws, or both claws?)
