Elven breath weapons

Off-Topic Discussions

I understand that an elf can use their minty breath as a basic fire arm that has a will save to disbelieve how minty fresh it really is. That is fine, Tolkien wrote tomes on the magnificent dental hygiene of the Eldar. But then why is it possible for a Samurai/Ninja while using their katanas like large elven curve blades to reflect the breath to turn an random target into a LE Paladin of Asmodeus in the latest play test PDF? Is this a typo?

I really thought this was a Kobold Cleaver thread for a moment. ;)

You know how it is, the playtest PDFs try to push boundaries and set an upper watermark.

Naah, if this were a KC thread, there'd be way more of the OP screaming in fear, running away, and putting forth silly arguments that kobolds are better miners than dwarves.

I thought that everybody did mining with traps!!?!

Stupid dwarves, doing everything the slow and old fashioned way.

They're addicted to the skittles produced only by the magical pony lawyer.

We house ruled that they sparkle when they pee.

Doesn't that screw up role protection? Dhampirs are the ones who sparkle.

We did it long before the Bestiary 2 came out. We're old school like that.

Also, Dhampirs sparkle when they pee in sunlight. Elves pee sparkles whenever their low-light vision is active, so quite a bit of the time.

Are you sure this doesn't have anything to do with the nuclear plant in Japan?

Nope, but it might have something to do with all that magical background radiation of the universe...
