Just a simple question here about the OGL and Golarion. Are there any restrictions on the geography of Golarion with respect to the OGL? What I mean here, is could I write a story which referenced geographical locations from Golarion?
Like I said, simple question.
You can find the answer to this question in our Community Use Policy.

Well, the Community Use Policy tells you how you may be able to write a story referencing those locations, but it doesn't really answer the question as asked.
Our locations (along with pretty much all of our setting material) are Product Identity, not Open Content, so the *OGL* does not allow you to use them. (However, as Cosmo said, the Community Use Policy might, if you satisfy the terms of that agreement.)

Two questions:
1: In the Community Use Policy it states:
You may use the cover images, as displayed on paizo.com, of all of the products on our Community Use Approved Product List at paizo.com/communityuse/products. Product covers may not be cropped, color adjusted, edited, distorted, or modified.
Does changing the opacity of an image, meaning in this case to sort of fade it out, constitute "color adjusted"?
2: Further, I see mention of "cropped" but no mention of scaled. I believe the policy means I can take one of the images from the Community Use Package Iconics and scale the image down by 50% smaller, but not lop off one of the character's heads and only show that portion of the character.
Would that be correct?
Thanks.

Scaling is definitely fine. I suppose changing opacity is ok.
