I am planning to run some high level adventures on a certain island that is highly charged with negative energy. I'm looking for some monsters that have a negative energy tie who aren't undead. I have tons of undead. I seem to remember that there were some balls of negative energy that roamed around, but that might have been 2nd edition.
Any suggestions would be appreciated? They don't have to be high level. Some low level irritations would be helpful, as well.
