the enforcer feat + whip

Rules Questions

Under the description for whip, it says that the whip deals no damage against anyone with a +1 armor bonus or +3 natural armor. So does this mean that you get not use the whip to demoralize, an opponent with a +1 armor bonus, with the enforcer feat?

As much as it flies in the face of the traditional image of slave drivers and the like, that's correct.

Yeah, but how often do slaves have armor on? You can still be a slave driver if you got a bunch of half naked people chained up.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I was afraid that was the case mechanically. Its just that thematically it didn't make sense.

Fair enough, but there's issue of the +3 nat armor. So you can't drive more bestial people.

You could always pick up a spiked whip, then take -4 to deal non-lethal damage with it. Eventually add merciful onto it so you can stop taking the -4.

Shadow Lodge

They rename it scorpion whip on pathfinder. Its in the APG.
