Ranger feats and splitting movement

Rules Questions

A couple of random questions here:

1) The ranger can effectively bypass feat prerequisites when he selects his special combat feats at levels 2, 6, 10, etc. Does this mean a ranger could take Far Shot at second level without having taken Point Black shot? Also, does the ranger need to abide by prerequisites when he selects any of these feats at other levels? For instance, if a ranger wants to take Far Shot at 3rd level and doesn't yet have Point Blank shot, is that a no-go?

2) Can you split your movement during your turn? For example, could a PC with 30' movement move 10 feet, make a standard action, and then finish up by moving another 20 feet?

He does not need to meet the pre-reqs. PRD LINK HERE

No. Exception, there is a feat (I think), that allows this, but I believe it is 3pp.

Yes, ranger can freely choose between combat feats, but note that some of the APG variations have level limit restrictions for when you gain access to the specific feats. Typically the lists are limited to moderate to weaker feat options, like Far Shot vs Precise Shot isn't a direct improvement like Vital Strike versus Improved VS.

No, you can move within your max move speed, if you stop to take a standard action you can't make a move action again. You could move your max move and then spend your standard action as a move speed to move again, but you can never get two moves on top of a standard.

2) Spring Attack

Does that include odd levels, where technically the ranger doesn't get the Combat Style feats?

No. If he is taking a "regular" feat, and not a "combat style" feat, he has to meet the pre-reqs.
