Oi! I was just taking a look at the eldrith knight. I know I'm probably about to kick a wasps nest, but anyhow...
At first the diverse training ability sounded sweet, but then I probably read it wrong. Yes, you can add your EK level to your fighter and wizard level to qualify for feats. But that is all it does, right? Agreed, it's more than some other PrC gives you, but you do not gain a lot of abilities from EK. I know he gets full BaB and spells. Nice things, by all means.
What I first thought Diverse Training did was enable you to add fx your wizard levels and fighter levels together with your EK levels to qualify for feats. But would that be too much?
What do you think?

Nope, sorry. It's both, but seperately. A 5wiz/5fig/10ElK counts as a 15/15, not as a 20/20. But that being said... I'd allow you to take a feat to do it, AND I'd let that feat count every Combat Feat you chose as a +1 caster level to ONE arcane class. Ala 'Ascetic Rogue'.
That's not canon, but neither is your request, so... ;p
