I don't think that it's possible to claim you're less nerdy than a D&D player if you buy a game called The Sims Medieval so that you can pretend to be a wizard on your computer all by yourself. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's just nerdy as all get out.

That's like the guys/gals I've met in RL that poor mouth TTRPGs while bragging about their WoW Night Elf Warlock or what not. I don't get it either. lol

Exactly. At least we, as table-top gamers, are interacting with people in the flesh, not electrons.

Well, that was rude:
Put your wizard's hat and twenty-sided dice away, though. The Sims: Medieval is going to be far from the nerdy, hey-nonny-nonnery of Dungeons and Dragons --
To be fair, Mike Smith, the writer at Yahoo, called D&D nerdy.
To the best of my knowledge, and I've been following the release of the Sims Medieval a bit, the SIMS, nor their developers, made no such claim--which is what your title implies. (Do correct me if I am wrong.)
I am sure the Sims devs (likely to have several tabletop gamers among them) likely took several pages from RPGs to get Sims Medieval where they want it, in fact.
And the Sims Medieval looks like a lot of nerdy, hey-nonny-nonnery to me, but that's also why it looks appealing to me. :)

Hey. Hey. Hey.
Are you suggesting that Tron is nerdy (nerdier even!) as well? That cannot be possible.

I think I have to now make it my mission to find a reason to say "hey nonny nonny" in my next session, somehow.
Easy enough for me to do, since I'm playing a bard.
And Tron is only nerdy if you dress like this.

This.
Anyone who is allowed to make up previously nonexistant words in their writings and is praised for it is ok in my book. ;)

Wait...is this the long heralded Sims expansion where we finally get to torture and dismember them for what they did to Marsellus Wallace?
Because I've been asking for that for 16 years now!
Best part of that movie....when Travolta gave her the shot in the heart.......and Arquette goes, "that wiz f$~+in trip-py. Ngah hah! Ngah hah hah!"
