The rearmost goblin moves up to keep pace with Galstok, and all three attack again, though this time, without the benefit of flanks.
Attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
The ones to the side seem to have found their nerve.
Damage 1d4 ⇒ 1
Damage 1d4 ⇒ 3

The door opens, and a human in incomplete half-plate runs through, carrying a bastard sword and shield, heading for the stairs, drawing AoO from Sephird and Ensu, if they wish. (Tregar and Valoria last had missile weapons drawn, so don't threaten his path.)
Ensu attack 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (9) + 0 = 9
Current initiative situation for this round is;
Furry No-pants (acted),
Valoria (acted),
Galstok (acted),
Sephird (acted),
Goblins (acted),
Armoured Swordsman (acting),
Kavrik (KO),
Ensu,
Tregar.
I need to know if Sephird is taking that AoO, before I complete his action.

Furry No-Pants |

The goblinoid snarls, takes a 5' step to the western edge of the room, by Sephird's side, and goes one of the trophies on his shoulder.
It is a shrunken gourd of some kind, and you realise, as he breaks the top with his gnarled claw, that he intends to take a drink from it.

Furry No-Pants |

He holds the gourd between his teeth, and throws his head back, blocking your blow with the handle of his flail.
He then spits the wrinkled remains into the corner, and gives a momentary shudder, before grinning at you, with a leer that goes from ear to ear. His earlier fatigue seems to have worn off, and he appears partially rejuvenated.
Valoria next.

Galstok |

Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate it! And to everyone else may you have a wonderful 25th of December.
Galstok steps forward following the creature out of the room. Fatigue and injuries warring with his eagerness for battle, Galstok brings his hammer swinging in from the side.
Round 2/4 of Fatigue
Attack:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage:2d6 + 4 ⇒ (6, 2) + 4 = 12

The goblins take advantage of the distraction, to throw some parting shots;
Attack of Opportunity 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Attack of Opportunity 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Attack of Opportunity 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
but, even fatigued, you manage to show them up.
Your blow hits the larger goblinoid, putting him back in his earlier state, staggering and leaning against the wall.
Sephird next

And Happy Christmas to all.
It's 10:50 am in Snorter HQ, and I've managed to get all the present opening out of the way. Managed to sneak a minute on the PC, in between Bob the Builder and Spongebob games, then I've to get ready to visit the in-laws for lunch. I expect everyone else has similar full diary, so today may be a slow posting day, so if we don't hear from you till Monday, don't sweat it.
And don't get discouraged by this encounter; I admit, I did add a level to him, while converting, to allow for there being six of you, otherwise he would have gone down like a chump. He's taking some killing, but he's not really dishing it out (with the exception of Kavrik in round one, obviously). If it's any consolation, this guy is one of the toughest in the place, and by catching him as written, in flagrante, he's much easier to take down, as he can't benefit from his stealth or most of his feats. If you'd kicked up a ruckus somewhere else, then you'd have him chasing you back to town, like Predator.

Galstok; you are aware of a chittering and sniggering behind you, and a goblin attempts to castrate you with a broken bottle.
Attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
She drives it up and under your groin, but luckily, you were wearing your studded leather skirt, which takes the cut.
You whirl round to face the snarling culprit, and see Kavrik's feet disappearing from sight.

Galstok |

Aww that few HP left?
Seeing the beasts drag the Chelaxian further into the room, Galstok hesitates until hearing the big creature drop behind him. Moving back into the room he readies his hammer, thinking to himself What am I doing saving a Chelaxian's arse?! Assuming he's even still alive
Entering the room he will swing on either one threatening Kavrik directly or nearest one he can reach.
Round 3/4 of fatigue
Attack:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Damage:2d6 + 4 ⇒ (3, 2) + 4 = 9
I guess I really don't have that much more. Hope they don't hit me. :)

Ensu steps back to the far wall, guarding Galstok's current space in front of the door, and stabbing the fallen goblinoid.
"I'll not catch them; someone else go upstairs. I'll hold off these runts, if they break out."
1d20 ⇒ 13
1d6 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
The body on the floor writhes involuntarily, as the spear point sticks in his leg.

NEW MAP is up, for the start of the fifth round.

The large goblinoid makes a secret stabilisation roll, then it's Valoria.

Galstok,
Sephird,
Goblins,
Armoured Swordsman,
Kavrik (KO),
Ensu,
Tregar.

FYI; one of the reasons for me being busy this last week has now been uploaded HERE. Now with typos corrected!

You one of the contributors to the product?
'The Cursed Hoard' and one of the Bestiary entries, the 'Outiko'.
She will stay out of reach from any foes.
No problem. I take it you have one spell left, via Arcane Bond, but it can be anything in your book, right?

As you clear the corner, you can see Tregar's back, and beyond, in the door frame, is the swordsman. Neither seems to have gained the upper hand, both fighting cautiously.
MAP HERE.
A single move of 30' will take you all the way up to the square immediately behind Tregar.

![]() |

The missile flies past Tregar's ear, into the swordsman, making him wince.
You can tell that Tregar appears to be focussed on parrying or dodging the swings from the swordsman, which appear to be made with considerable force, given the chips that fly from the doorframe.
"Give it up! We got five more coming, right behind me. We're here for the goblins. And for the Tian half-elf."

He's using the bastard sword one-handed, and appears to have no difficulty keeping his balance, while keeping his shield up over his vitals.
He then steps back out of sight to his left.
That map has more info than you are currently aware of, but it doesn't matter for now.
I ran a few rounds of their combat in advance, using d20 Dice Bag.
