these are the spells I've got loaded:
Spells
Domains
Travel: +10 ft base speed, Agile Feet (Su) (7 x day, 1 rnd each, ignore all penalties for difficult terrain)
Ocean (sub domain foe Water): Surge (Su) (7 x day, generate mighty wave that does Bull Rush or Drag with a +7 CMB, range ?)
Spells Memorized
0: (DC 14) Spark (APG), Stabilize, Detect Magic, Guidance
1st: (DC 15) Bless, Cause Fear, Endure Elements, Longstrider (domain)
2nd: (DC16) Sound Burst, Grace (APG), Slipstream (APG) 9(domain)
I'm crap in melee, so figure either hide then cast or, if hiding is impossible, Bless from the back, attacking with Sound Burst if I can get a good radius target, use cause Fear to get us some breathing space, or use the domain power Surge to move and soak a doggie. Healing would be more important than attacking, though.
dice roll example:
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
typed: [diec]1d20 + 4[/dice] (spelling dice correctly inside both brackets)

Lobo-Noble Wolf |

(On his turn...)
Lobo will snarl and then lift his muzzle to the sky and Howl. The howl triggers the condition for Sturdy Attitude, and he seems to bulk up and look more defiant. Striding forward, he'll put himself between the rodents and the direction the hounds are coming from.
In Noble Canine:

Db3's Narrator |

Initiative
Lobo
Minna
Rikka
Hunting Dogs
Fitz
Lobo howls and steps between the dogs and the rest of his group, while Minna hisses and spits fire at one. Rikka is unsuccessful in scaring either of them.
The two canines seem to laugh at Lobo, snarling their replies as they close in to snap at him.
Hunting Dog 1's Bite:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Damage:1d4 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Hunting Dog 2's Bite:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Damage:1d4 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
While both of their jaws snap shut with brutal force, neither manages to sink his teeth past Lobo's(now thicker) fur.
At this point it is Fitz's turn. Since we don't know how long he's to be gone, I'll wait a bit before taking his actions for him. Eric could if I am not available of course.

Lobo-Noble Wolf |

Happy to return in kind, Lobo will snap at the hound on the left (Dog1), shifting 5' to prevent flanking of him easily.
Bite
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Damage
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Trip if it hits
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
edit: A 2 eh, no that will be a miss. I may as well be looking at the moon... ;) Also, i am sorry that i seem to post slow. My active/posting hours are approx 5pm to 5 am EST, but i do check the thread daily.

Minna |

Minna ducks into the underbrush and begins casting Summon Nature's Ally.
Edit:I'm feeling a little extra cranky because of series of homework assignments that aren't going as they were supposed to. I truly loathe labeling diagrams of the body. I'm never sure where the arrows are actually pointing and the illustrations never match each other. The point being, please disregard the tone of the above. I'm pretty sure it sounds way more irritated than is warranted. But I really don't know enough to get through a combat round right now. I probably should have done more pestering in the OOC thread before this, but I'm a wee bit distractable and I didn't realize it hadn't been finished until I went to do my action and found out I couldn't.

PS, this is a full round action, so your creature will appear next round.

Rikka |

Rikka, still hissing and spitting, sees the dogs launch themselves at the Wolf. He begins to yowl gratingly, "My my wolf! My bad bad! Smelly dogs no bite wolf, RIKKA BITE WOLF!"
He darts to a point where he can hit both dogs in a cone 15 feet long without hitting the wolf. If this is impossible, he'll target one of the dogs. He rears up on his hindquarters and thrusts his paws forward, screeching wicked as sparks erupt from his fur.
Casting Burning Hands as an Electric version! Reflex DC 14 for half damage!
Damage: 3d4 ⇒ (2, 1, 3) = 6 electric damage

![]() |

Yeah you can catch both dogs without hitting Lobo.
The dogs feel their fur standing on end as Rikka’s spell goes off. They both try to avoid the arc of electrical discharge, but only succeed in compounding the problem. Soon the smell of ozone fills the air, along with the smell of burnt dog fur. The dogs attempt to retaliate from the insult from the tiny rat, but their blows come nowhere close to landing on Lobo!
Fitz is up.
Dog#1 Reflex save 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 fail
Dog#2 Reflex save 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 fail
Dog#1 Attack 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Damage 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Dog#2 Attack 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Damage 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

If it is possible to fit the two dogs in the target area, will cast Sound Burst, Fort dc 16
"Try my bark, boys!"

moves to keep Lobo between himself and dogs

Fitz’s sonic bark impact the two hunting dogs, and knocking them to the ground, blood starts oozing from the ears of both dogs.
Both dogs are unconscious.
Above, Kotori and the falcon above notice the results of the combat below. Withj a furious squak, the falcon flies off winging away from the battlefield!

** spoiler omitted **
Lobo will lift his muzzle, invoke Ghost Sound, and give the retreating avian a sendoff howl with the volume of a dozen wolves echoing through the trees.

Kotori |

With the falcon retreating, Kotori glides unsteadily down to the group. His feathers are ruffled and there are several small cuts matting the ones that are still in order.
"That.. was why we need.. information." He says between shaky breaths. "They know about us, but we know next to nothing about them! Not even the spellcasters we have on our side have been able to tell us anything except who would the most likely to succeed where others have failed... you."

Kotori |

"A bit of both, actually. We believe Karakian soldiers have campsites spread throughout the southern part of another forest not far from here. It is separated from this one by a wide expanse of plains, but you could make it to the edge by nightfall if there are no more attacks."
"I do not know how long it may take you to find out anything you deem useful, but perhaps you chould try to make it back here in seven days?"

Lobo will snort, but say nothing else for the moment. He'll turn and look at the others, perhaps appraisingly. "We should go then, before others are sent."

Kotori |

"I believe one of the camps is located close to a river... I just don't know which river and where at the moment." Kotori says as his head swivels again. He stretches a wing out to point in the direction the dogs came from. "That would be the best way to go. Unless you have anymore questions, I need to go get my injuries mended and my feathers cleaned before trying to find out how this meeting was found out."

Lobo-Noble Wolf |

Rikka will nod at the notion of going, then look at the wolf. "Long legs run fast fast. Rikka short legs, good for trees, good for glide. No good for run fast fast. Rikka ride wolf?" He asks hopefully.
Lobo looks at Rikka like he suddenly sprouted two more heads and turned florescent green.
"I'm not your mount. That's a role for Dogs."
Sniffing disdainfully in the direction of the squirrel, he'll turn to the trees and make a couple yips and short barking sounds. A human girl will slip out of the brush, younger then adult, older then a child. Clad in hides and with a curved stick on her back, she will pad over to Rikka and go to a knee with one hand outstretched by the ground in his direction while making a soft cooing sound.

Kotori |

Healing? Why didn't you say so?
How much? Want spells or positive energy?
Kotori shakes his head.
"No thank you, I will not have to fly far and you still have a lot of traveling to do. They are little more than scratches anyway." He watches as the young human slips out of the undergrowth and clicks his beak thoughtfully. "Interesting, Wolf, that one who chooses not to serve would have a two-legged friend."

"You're still here Owl?"
Lobo growls iritatedly.
"Don't you have feathers to ruffle elsewhere? You don't know anything."
In a bit of a huff, perhaps hiding a bit of being flustered, the Wolf will turn away from the avian.

Lobo-Noble Wolf |

"You have a lovely pet," she said drily to Lobo. "Are we perhaps going to start travelling now?"
The girl will lift her head, noticing the feline for the first time.
"kitty!"
She seems pleased to see the cat and holds out her other hand towards the cat as well, offering a petting.

Rikka |

"Pffff. Rikka walk. Not ride silly wolf. Rikka have pride." Still, the squirrel looks a little miffed at his rebuff. When the human shows up, the squirrel puffs out his fur and hisses, not at the girl, but at thw wolf. "Bad wolf have manling?!? Bad wolf wolf have PET?!!? No fair! No fair! Rikka Rikka want pet, too!"

"Let's be off then." Lobo pointedly ignores the pouting rodent..
Lobo will start making his way out of the clearing, sniffing at the ground with his muzzle along the path the two hounds had come from. The girl will rise and make to follow, but will then hesitate and hold out her arms to pick up anyone who wishes to be carried while making a soft cooing sound.

Lobo's Survival: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
With the bodies of the dogs giving off their scent rather strongly, Lobo can find the trail they took to get to the meeting with only a bit of time spent searching. Unfortunately, the farther the group travels, the harder it is to pick up the scent.
You believe you have made it about halfway to your destination.

(my rolls are great!)
Lobo will pause occasionally, sniffing at the trail and making fairly quiet snarls of frustration.
"Stupid Dogs."
Casting occasional glances back over his shoulder he will note that everyone else from the clearing was still there and nobody had given up.
"Hmpf. I'm not familiar with this area we are entering, so keep your noses up. No telling when we will run into something else.."
