I just ordered the flying bases. It said they are a special item that is ordered every few weeks, with a shipping estimate of 12-51 days. Am I sure to have these shipped in that time frame? I just want to make sure I am not waiting 6 months for enough people to order them before you guys put the order in with the company that makes them. I'm new to the whole buying stuff online thing so I have a few worries about these types of things. Thanks in advance.

These items are highly likely to ship in this time frame, but this is not a guarantee. The very unpredictability of these items is exactly the reason they are marked as "Special Order". Also, keep in mind that the estimate is in business days. This means Monday through Friday, no holidays. In any given month there are about 20 business days, so the estimate of 12 to 51 business days means anywhere from a couple of weeks to about 3 months.
All this being said, you are not charged for anything until it ships out to you. So if you place your order, you will be out nothing until it ships.

Thanks for the reply Cosmo. One other question. I had 2 other items in this order, gaming paper and the condition cards. The condition cards are listed as shipping with the bases. Does this mean it could be 3 months before I get them too? Is there any way to have them shipped by themselves? I start running Carrion Crown in a few weeks and it would be nice to have them for the game. Thanks again!

We can move the condition cards to a new order and have them ship right away, however, this will increase the shipping. Please let us know what you decide.

Could they be included in the next shipment of my AP subscription? I would like to have them shipped now or with book 2 of Carrion Crown, but it would depend on how much more I would pay for shipping. Any estimate on the new shipping charge to help me decide?
Reviewing some new information I just received, it actually looks like we *should* be able to ship both items together by the middle of next week, possibly sooner.
To split the order up so that the cards ship now and the flight stands later increases the shipping by $3.08.
Adding one or both of the items to the next AP shipment increases the shipping estimate of the AP by less than $1, however, we won't be shipping the next AP for several weeks.
