Damage for Huge Great Sword

Rules Questions

Is it 4d6 (see Storm Giant in Bestiary) or 4d8 (see PC Weapon Damage Table in Rule Book). Its for the Half Giant Psi Warrior who has the Expansion Power. Don't ask, I'm not the GM.

Errors can, and are, printed occasionally. When this is the case, I would use the rule book to determine damage, since it specifically pertains to PCs.

Where are you finding this "PC Weapon Damage Table"? I can't seem to find it.

The natural attacks table (in the back of the Bestiary) suggests the progression is 2d6 -> 2d8 -> 4d6. The Tiny/Large Weapons table (in the Core Rulebook, in the Weapons section) suggests 2d6 -> 3d6 and 2d8 -> 3d8. 2d8 and 3d6 are pretty close to each other, as are and 4d6 and 3d8. I'm not seeing where you're getting 4d8 from.

unless I'm mistaken greatswords are d6's just like great club.
Having been an avid fan of Greater Mighty Wallop in 3.5 I can say that the damage dice both starting at 2d6 likely stick to the same progression.
A huge great club is 4d6, I would guess a great sword is also that.

I appreciate the responses. The consensus seems to be 4d6 and having re-read the rule I think it is less confusing then I thought. Also the old progression still seems to apply. So looking at the old 3.5 progression out to Huge it also seems to say 4d6. Thanks again.

Yes for clarification, I meant the tiny/large weapons table.
