The resurrection spell says it requires a piece of the body of the person to be brought back. How big of a piece? How small is too small? Would a lock of hair clipped six months prior suffice?
Thanks!
Well, the part needs to have been part of the creature's body at teh time of death, but other than that, there's no restrictions. So hair clipped prior wouldn't count, but hair clipped from the corpse would. It's really up to the GM how much counts as "some small portion". You could argue that something as small as a single strand of hair, drop of blood, or even a toenail clipping is sufficient, provided it was taken from them after they died.
