Hello all,
I've read a lot of the replay threads, but there was one thing that I would like clarified. I am going to Bashcon with a couple of friends this weekend. I have played several of the scenarios that are offered.
Is it okay for me to replay with a character for no credit? I've only played PFS at a game store and this will be the first chance I've had to play with these two friends. I like getting credit, but I don't mind playing for no credit.
I'm not too keen on replaying with a pregen either. :)

Unless they are all Tier 5 or higher scenarios you are looking at, I would suggest creating a secondary character to have fun. Yeah, pre-gens are no fun. And (I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong), you could only replay a scenario (even for no credit) if YOU are the only way that table is going to be legal.
Besides, if you play your own character, you still have to account for consumables and still have the risk of dying... and no credit. That is, unless you play the pre-gen.

I have a proposal for replaying / consumables / etc: that the character be allowed to earn up to the cost of replacing any consumables used in the adventure.
So a person replaying a scenario and using up three potions if cure light wounds and 12 arrows could receive enough treasure to repurchase them, but not a copper piece more.
You still risk dying, of course.

Not a bad idea.
I'm not really concerned about dying. My friends are just fun to play with. I DM for them (Rise of the Runelords). They are great players. The most epic moments have come during times of great crisis. They love it. I love it. I think you know what I mean :)

Taken from a sticky in this forum:
If you play you earn 1 credit that is applied to the character that played through the scenario.
If you GM a scenario, you earn 1 credit that can be applied to any character that hasn't played through the scenario. You receive GM or player credit regardless of the order you play/GM the scenario. You may not earn more than 1 player credit and 1 GM credit regardless of how many times you GM or play the scenario. You are free to use PPP to seat legal tables, but if you already have earned your credits you do not earn any additional ones.
Seems like this answers your question.
