Human Eye for Talent and the summoner!

As we are about to start a new Campaign i am toying with the summoner.
Now I found the Human Advanced Racial Trait:
Eye for Talent: Humans have great intuition for hidden potential. They gain a +2 bonus on Sense Motive checks. In addition, when they acquire an animal companion, bonded mount, cohort, or familiar, that creature gains a +2 bonus to one ability score of the character's choice. This racial trait replaces the bonus feat racial trait.
Now as the Eidolon is not listed here is it intentionally not listed, or just forgotten as a result of the new class and also diffrent designers?
I apologize for my substandard English as i am no native speaker!

The feat and summoner came out in the same book. Had the racial trait been printed earlier than the APG, it would be a reasonable question whether it should be expanded to summoner.

Since it does not include eidolon and the writers could very well have listed eidolon in there, I think it is reasonably clear that a summoner will not benefit.
