I dunno. It looks like there isn't much OF a story, but I could be wrong.
Might be worth going to see if/when I'm in the mood for mindless violence. I can get into that sort if done well enough.

The 3rd one was good for that. GREAT ending action scene from what I remember.
I could see how the major attraction of that movie might leave you cold, CH. :)
I find I like all of them. Kinda sad, but there it is.

Morning FAWTL folks.
So lately our three year old has been asking for a puppy. Last night he tells me that he "pray for Christmas doggy". And last night a beautiful siberian husky walked into Solnes' store without tag or collar on, then proceeds to obey every command she is given. The dog is now in our house, as she followed my wife to her truck and jumped right in at the end of the night. She's housebroken, leash trained, and obeys very well.
Guess the Big Guy heard the little guy's wish.

That's fawsome LPM! Reminds me of what happened here when I first cohabitated with my wife. She had adopted a German shepherd because she was living alone with Ally, but the shelter insisted that the also adopt a springer spaniel that was from the same house. The Shepard loved the house but the spaniel HATED it. He was always digging under the fence and getting picked up by the dog catcher (at $100 per bailout). Finally he got away and was gone for days. I had just moved in, and we looked all over for him. Finally we discovered he had moved into a house a few streets over. He loved it there and they adored him. So we gave him to them. And our Shepard was so much happier (the spaniel was a bit of a bully)

One of the finest ever made. It was one of the first gifts my mother bought Dad when they were newly married. When he died it was left to me, so I was heartbroken when it turned up missing. Funny how things work out in the end. :)

Another weekend of Kingmaker with Jess, Wolfthulhu and crew. I made the mistake of taking something I read online about dog behavior to heart. Duke sometimes likes to lay across my legs if I am laying in bed. I had read that it was an attempt to be the dominate dog and reacted badly. Derek mentioned that all Duke wants to do is express his love and affection by doing that. After some thought I could not see any other dominate traits in Duke so I was wrong. Thursday I bought him a big rawhide bone. By last night he had it chewed in two.
I find that dogs find any excuse to get close to you. Especially in sleeping situations, it is the pack mentality I woke up this morning with two terriers plastered to my side
I have discovered that when I place the child gate across the front door Duke will lay down so he can see out. He doesn't usually bark much but there are certain people that he will bark at. I usually try to take notice of the ones he does bark at so I can watch them. Generally he is pretty friendly.

we were car hunting today. GF bought a nice Skoda Fabia and is quite happy. Now the bureaucracy treadmill starts (insurance, registration...)

Cool! Is that a Czech car? I seem to recall that name from somewhere. I just got a used Dodge Caravan with a handicapped ramp package. I am very excited about this
