Go for the black sapphires rather than the lapis lazuli.Only three thousand pounds more.
Yes, heavy with the tormented souls it has consumed!!!
I think, if I want one, the best option is to buy a regular two-hander, spray it black, paint some squiggly made-up runes on it and save myself approx. £4,500.
Nudity?

I wonder how many calories are in a soul consumed by Stormbringer?
Also, b/c life is sometimes an ironic comedy, my older one just came in to show of her "masterpiece" breakfast while I'm trying to slowly make a ham and cheese and some applesauce last for lunch.
Said "masterpiece" inspired by Taco Bell, consists of 2 strips of bacon crumbled over a bed of scrambled eggs, tater tots (not hashbrowns, but big honkin tater tots) and a mass of cheese that makes my heart cry, all between two flour tortillas that she "quesadilla'd" in the bacon grease.
The smell of it is still in my office. Reducing food intake has always been one of the hardest things in my life, and now as I'm 2 days into this journey all I can smell is bacon and cheese.
Lastly, CS, thank you again for the PM.

He'd still be Emperor of Melnibone, happily having to do with his cousin and not getting his essence devoured by a malignant and ultra-powerful cosmic evil in the form of a blade, that's where.

Cuteness in the morning:
Most mornings, the little Fluffernutter yowls incessantly to go outside the moment I get up. This morning I followed my usual ritual: Grab a cup of coffee, turn on the fireplace...
...and as soon as the fireplace was on the Fluffernutter meeped in gratitude, trotted over tail held high, popped into her box in front of the fireplace, and curled up contentedly.
Apparently there are better things than outsidesies.

WE GOT A HOOVER!
This mech can be one of a few things to be accurate to the name:
1. Per a lookup of the name once with a medieval historian, supposedly the last name Hoover can either mean a "hump or knobbly protrusion", or a "Horned stallion" so, as my buddy put it at the time, the mech might be a "horny, humpy stallion"
2. The mech could be really good at holding back massive amounts of water, kind of like a dam
3. The driver prefers Cronyism and the mech will ensure a massive economic depression
4. The mech is a director of more espionage/investigation type mechs but it enjoys swapping out masculine style chassis types for more feminine body types in private
5. It sucks (like a vacuum)

So lots of Elric references upthread b/c of the ludicrously expensive Stormbringer. "Blood and Wine" reminded me of Elric's cry, "Blood and souls for my lord, Arioch." That in turn reminded me that, in HS, several of my friends and I were taking Latin together in our senior year.
As our graduation trip, since our teacher/school couldn't afford the time and resources to go to Greece, we went to Greektown in Chicago for a suit-and-tie lunch. We were all reading the Elric books at the time, so everything at said lunch was an offering to Arioch. "Salad and Bread for our lord, Arioch!" "Baklava for our lord, Arioch!" "Stuffed grape leaves for our lord, Arioch!"
We barely passed the class; that was the last year the restaurant trip was allowed by the school that I'm aware of.
Carry on.

it does kinda suck.
But it is mobile, has excellent hear sinks and can make life difficult if it has even scant backup. It can't charge in and one shot things, but it can cover friends, provide direct fire support, and flank opponents.

I'm spoilering these b/c nobody has to read if they don't want to. I'm writing this here as kind of a way to keep myself accountable. Today IF begins, trying to make THAT a habit; waiting until noon my time to start eating (currently it's quarter to 10 am).

Its a weird feeling when you beat the endgame boss, and realize that one or more earlier bosses were a lot tougher.
I feel like there's gotta be a slang word for this.
There may not be a slang word, but there is an actual word: Anti-climatic.
Usually accompanied by a sad trombone.

My other half was very pleased with the results she got from intermittent fasting. She also swears by keto; it does seem to be working for her, but I'm not sure it's healthy in the long run.

I feel like Diablo II had some of that issue. The boss at the end of act ii was, at least the first few times brutal with the slow load screen and his alpha strike.
Exactly the game I was thinking of. Diablo is no cakewalk, but Duriel is downright brutal, especially if you're playing a ranged character. Alpha strike + immunity to slow effects + tiny room = so many deaths.
Currently I'm having a blast playing Eternium, but the endgame boss is definitely a bit anticlimactic. Several other bosses have attack routines that force tactical play, but so long as you take out the endboss' lieutenants prior to engaging her (they're seperate encounters), you can literally just stand in one place and cycle through your attacks to kill her.
