For someone who doesn't watch television or cable or satelite in almost 2 years, what's on Thursday nights?

FREEHOLD! I have introduce another acolyte to the ways of Korean Fried Chicken! A vegetarian* no less!

*I question his claim to the label, given how readily he consented to go to a fried chicken place.

Interesting experience. An old friend from college was in the city, so we decided to get together for dinner and drinks. It was fun, but sustaining conversation was somewhat difficult.

In my post-mortem of the evening, it occurred to me that I don't think we ever once hung out one-on-one. We were friends because we hung out in the same circles, but there were always other people around. We had no experience at sustaining a conversation with just the two of us. Curious.

A fun romp through the sewers of Port Shaw in tonight's Razor Coast.

Guys, do you think Ildavin is a good Drow name? I'm trying to name a character.

The 'start' of my new PF campaign. Amazingly I'm actually really pleased with my group, especially since we were doing character creation with the party working out their interrelationships.

One player even said when I asked what equipment he wanted replied; "Well my characters a bit of a carouser, so some favours with the locals. Maybe a place to doss, he doesn't really have much stuff."

Anyway happy friday. Board-games & Pizza tonight. :D

After working a lot of hours in September, I am taking a vacation day today to organize our garage and turn it into a nice ceramic studio.

Eureka! - Golarion will experience a great event on 7 Lamashan 4713

Looks like our posting pace has slowed down considerably. Since May 23rd, we have been posting an average of 55 per day. At our current rate, our new 100,000th post day is February 15th, 2014.

In reality, I am quite sure we will be over 100,000 before the end of 2013. My new forecast is Thanksgiving weekend when the event will occur.

In other forecasts, I predict it will be sunny and hot somewhere, cloudy and cool somewhere else, and night time on the other side of the world.

What about lotto numbers?

I predict that 5 numbers plus a bonus number will be selected and in other games, 4 numbers will be picked.

+1. Looks and sounds good to me.

Just got out of ~2 hour meeting that started at 7.30 AM (a full hour before I normally come in to work). So much headache with the current legal situation when you work in accounting.

Thankfully the rest of the day is looking to be fairly easy and laid back.

We had one of our insurance experts at the meeting. His legal department guy starts every meeting with "This is what I know today. I guarantee absolutely nothing tomorrow."

Puffin's twin nieces arrived this morning! Between them, they're almost thirteen pounds of adorableness. Kids are doing well. Mom is hugely relieved! <3

Spoiler:
FB friends can see them on my home page. They're public.

Good morning folks, looks like I missed the memo that it was hawaiian shirt day at work.

I have polished all the shoes!
I love it when all the shoes are a-shining

The Exchange

My son in JROTC, has been having shoe polishing groups once a week after school.

Grand Lodge

Was never any good at polishing myself. Glad I only have to wear tan boots now.

Weird....

Only people I know who polish regularly are leather lifestyle enthusiasts.

I've never owned any shoes that would ever be in need of polishing >_>

Know a couple of those. They shine stuff all week. That is weird.

I am way too amused by coming up with rumors about my Kingmaker PCs for them to learn when they roll Knowledge (Nobility) on themselves.

My father's buying lottery tickets hadn't helped keep the demand up?

Freehold: Yes, they were born this morning! Yay!

And "leather lifestyle enthusiasts" - I like that name. It hardly sounds kinky at all!

I would think reducing the payout would be a better strategy. Raising ticket prices will probably sap demand even further.

I imagine they see the big number they can stick on a billboard or on TV as the main draw, and thus aren't amenable to reducing it; their only option for reaching that number is, as a result, to crank the prices up.
