Aberzombie,
where are you?
no FaWtL post in almost a week!?
we need our daily soap opera, faerie tale, and mergh!!come back to us, Zombie!!!!
Apologies FAWTLY Brethren. My absence has been due to a multitude of reasons, one of which was a severe bout of depression, accompanied by numerous battles with lunacy at work (some involving the forthcoming extreme military budget cuts which will potentially affect my future and that of my family in possibly very craptastic ways), plus a healthy dose of searching for a potential new daycare for the boy.
Needless to say, I felt it necessary to limit my posting if I could not be my usual cheery self.
I am hopefully exiting said long, dark tunnel, just in time to hit the holiday, end of year travel, madness circus.
Aberzombie, you are welcome to post here whenever you are feeling down. In fact, I for one want you to post here when you are down. You are family. Granted, that is a dead, decaying, watch your back and put it down and out of it's misery sort of family member, but family none the lest.
~GRINS~
All in all, I do hope that things go better for you. If you want to talk about what is happening in your life, we will be here for you. ~gags Aberzombie the minute he starts to talk about his life~

Trying to sort out next semester's classes. For my mental health I'm deliberately creating an easy semester. Calc 2, statistics, yoga (cause I need an extra credit to be full time), and then I'm having a really hard time deciding between physical anthropology and mythology. they're at the same time so I can't take both, but they both sound so interesting. Decisions, decisions.

Wow, that sounds really interesting Lynora. I hope it'll be less problematice than this one. Yoga, is that an actual course (with lessons & exams) or a 'after-hours' course that shows you are dedicated/ bonding with the school. Hope that's not a silly question, but our education system is completely different.
Sorry about the feline frolics Sharoth.
Hope things will get better for you AZ.
At least some good news with Cheapy & the whiskey :P
Hope everyones day starts with a glorious morning and get's better.

Yoga is a two credit course that as far as I can tell from the description consists of showing up every week for a two hour lesson in which you do yoga. I don't think there are exams. It's one of a series of classes offered that are one or two credits because you need a minimum of twelve credits per term to be considered full time and three credit classes often leave you one or two credits short. It's not a silly question at all. As you said, different systems. :)

That's cool being able to do exercise and earn credits. Well it does make students well-rounded and de-stressed.

De-stressing is definitely the idea. :)
And finished with registration. I did end up going with mythology. Hopefully I'll get another chance to take the other class because it does sound super interesting.

Morning all,
Good luck with work Zombeh, Military budget cuts stink in a myriad of ways. ;P
Come back from japan with a real katana, and de-stress the fun way next time some schmuck at work annoys you! :D
<Smiles at images of a zombie with a katana chasing people through an office building>
Hm, that thought, and a cup of coffee, and my morning will start looking better! :)

I'd say lack of exercise is just as likely to leave the students well round.

Indeed. In that sense I'd like to be a little less well-rounded and a little more in a shape other than round. :P

Means the same thing over here so I'm sure most of us got it =)
I've never been anywhere in the US that uses that word like they do in the UK. In British slang, it means "hot".
British teenage boy: "Did you see that girl back there? She was well fit!"
Everywhere I've been in the US, it is less-sexual word for someone who is in good physical condition.
US personal trainer: "On this routine, we'll have you fit in no time."

Heh, within the context of the quote either definition makes sense, but I do stand corrected.
