Ah, hot bath... Mmmhhhmmm.
Bath - no need to state the obvious.
Apparently the secret to getting work done is panic. That, and putting Ritalin in my coffee.
Illuxcon is in less than a week.
PANIC.
Working in Photoshop CS6 on a borrowed computer with virtually no RAM.
Four paintings to do by Monday, two more by Thursday.
F+$!ING PANIC.
Secret RiP project on the back burner AGAIN.
Disappointing panic.
Buzzed as f$#& panic blitz.
You know people are divided into those who, at the sight of a tiger panic and those who say "here, pussy". Guess which tend to survive.
But yes, panic tends to do miracles when one has a deadline incoming.

Cool - have fun see you next Saturday!
Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Saturday! Just been enjoying a nice bit o' breakfast with the wife and boy. He just finished off a waffle and is now working on some Captain Crunch (with crunch berries, very important).
Daddy, meanwhile, is having a nutrigrain bar and some coffee.
Is it scary that I took some video of my Keurig filling my coffee mug? Is it even scarier that I posted said video on FB?
The boy's getting better and better everyday wrt using a fork or spoon.
I keep asking him if he wants coffee. So far the answer's no.

we had bought a glass bottle of expencive canadian maple syrup.
today we crashed the still unopened bottle on the kitchen tiles :-/
what a mess, it resisted any attemps to clean it up, until I found the answer on google:
diet coke
it did work really good
Yikes, sorry about that aeglos :(
If you're anything like me, the fact that you have to clean it up is far less upsetting than the fact that you do not get to eat it.
I'm going to head out to sit in a gas line. What better way to spend a Saturday?
Mentioning slide rules makes people feel old.
Goin' to a haunted house tonight.

Looks like the 1970s all over again for those old enough to remember the shortage then. There have been a lot of comparisons. New Jersey has adopted even/odd license plate fuel rationing. There's pressure to do the same in New York.
I waited just under an hour and was one of the last to get gas at that particular station before it went dry. The waits in many areas are 2 hours or more, but I went out to the farm country part of LI and it wasn't as bad.
I was down to my last 2 or 3 gallons, so I am glad I should be all set now.
Hmmmmm, gas smuggling.......

The kid is in the living room, sitting on his practice potty and watching Sesame Street.
And brandishing a paper towel tube like it's a wand!

It's quite strange feeling to learn that women that recently showed interest in you started a relationship with another man. Even if I didn't reacted much and he apparently had been interested in her long-long ago it's still a strange feeling.
It's getting a bit cool.
I am going to bed. Night everyone.
I have been enjoying...a car accident.
Look, when I said I wanted a new car end of the year, I didn't mean I wanted the old one destroyed!
*sigh*
I am fine, just a bit sore. I figure anytime you can walk away from a three car wreck "a bit sore" is pretty good, all things considered. Nobody needed transport to the hospital. Now I wait to find out what the judgement is on the car.
*double sigh*
=(
Glad to hear you're okay Jess.

Damn, that sucks, Jess.
glad you are (mostly) ok, remember to go to a doctor if you feel sick, it can be a wiplash
Positive waves Jess! Glad you're ok.
Good morning FAWTLY Folk! (Somewhat) Happy Sunday!
Appropriately, it's nice and sunny outside. And it looks like yesterday's wind has gone on to vex some other poor soul elsewhere in the world. Huzzah!
I may actually get out and cut my grass today! One final time before the winter break!
Tried my refillable filter cup in the Keurig today! Success!
Hell, I'm tempted to brew another cup!
