Which part of:
Troglodyte CR 1
XP 400
CE Medium humanoid (reptilian)
Init –1; Senses darkvision 90 ft.; Perception +0
Aura stench (30 ft., DC 13, 10 rounds)
did you fail the Perception check at? :)

Apparently at the same part as Elyas :P
Which actually proves that despite the claims of designers the new stat block isn't more useful and readable than the old one. I was looking for special attacks, why would I bother with looking at their senses and generic stats?
Likely because Stench is an aura, and that's the place where people look at when they are looking for "things that constantly work around the monster so I got to remember about them every turn" .

Yeah; the theory behind putting stench (and ALL auras) at the top of the stat block is because that's naturally the first place someone's eyes gravitate to when you first look at the stat block. Things like senses, auras, and initiative, all of which can influence how and when a monster encounter starts, get lumped in up there at the top.
