Eagle Shaman: Can anyone clarify Wild Shaping into a Roc?

What kind of Roc can an Eagle Shaman shift into?

The Advanced player's guide Mentions Roc as a specific choice for their enhanced version of Wild Shape (Lvl + 2), however a Druid's Wild Shape ability never advances to the point where they can turn into a Gargantuan animal.

The contradiction brings to mind templates such as "Young Creature" as a solution to the size cap. However, the rules disallow the use of templates for Wildshape, since the ability is defined as working like polymorph spells such as Beast Shape and the polymorph rules specifically forbid template use.

Does this mean the only Roc a Eagle shaman can shift into is the entry level medium sized Roc Companion?

I would let them change into the 7th-level Advancement version of the roc. At 6th level when an eagle shaman acquires wild shape they can use it as though they are 8th level which means they can turn into a large creature.

That sounds reasonable. Though I can think of many reasonable GM calls that I would make as a GM or be able to defend to a GM as a player. Unfortunately I'm worried about Pathfinder Society Play, so the GM could literally change every time a character is played.

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for an "Oops Our Bad" from paizo that could eventually become an errata. So how about it Paizo people? Can I hope for an official ruling or do I need to take it up with the Pathfinder Society Message Board?

I´m pretty sure that per RAW, the Animal Companions aren´t legal forms to use for Wildshape, you´re supposed to choose Animals that are in the Bestiary. If only for the reason that the Animal Companions are clearly applying Young Templates in effect, which is barred per RAW...

...But I wouldn´t mind hearing Paizo feedback here, because it looks likely to feed into past issues that have been brought up re: Templates and Wildshape. It seems like there should really be a better, legit way to allow Young type Templates, rather than sneak around the edges by using non-Creature (CLass Feature Animal Companion) Stats. To me, the ´no Template´ is obviously to avoid power UPs mostly of the Half-Dragon, Fiendish, Vampire, etc, type, and some exception here seems very reasonable (but is missing per RAW).
