Hey everyone! I will be running low level adventures leading up to the Red Hand of Doom adventure(3.5) converted to Pathfinder, and I was wondering a few things...
Where in the Inner Sea region would be a good spot to place the Elsir Vale(region the adventure takes place)? I was thinking somewhere in the Kodar mountains, since basically all we need is a mountain range with some plains nestled nearby.
Has anyone else ran this adventure in Golarion? If so, what adjustments did you need to make?
I'm decently familiar with PF rules, but this is our first real go at the system(all of us are 3.5 veterans). I'm honestly not very familiar with Golarion as a setting.

I think anywhere surrounding the Hold of Belkzen would be a good location. The Kodar mountains in Varisia would be decent although I might have it closer to Janderhoff and Korvosa. Locations in Lastwall or Nirmathas would also be excellent choices. Nirmathas definitely seems like a good location because it's received scant detail but seems well suited to needing PC heroics.

Holy Moly -- Jacobs and I agree on something (other than Paizo's excellence).
Isger, nearer Molthune than Druma, is exactly what I thought of for RHoD in Golarion.
....And Sandpoint still feels like it should have a Floridian climate.
....And Intellect Devourers are cool but can never replace Mind Flayers.
....And the VIKINGS rule the universe.

what about i think Irsten? may be mis spelling it. the Country that had the goblingate wars between Andora and Cheliax. It seems its the right sort of enviroment for RHOD
Meh Isger is what i was thinking of but it appears others came to think of it too. had the location write but somehow mangled the name.

Thanks for the help guys, I will be setting the adventure in Isger. Probably going to just do some short one-nighter adventures getting the players up to 5th level, since we're starting at 1st.
Turns out I'm going to have 7 players... I wasn't originally counting on that many but it kinda blew up. I guess I underestimated the popularity of Pathfinder!
