I'm trying to convert my 3.5 character into Pathfinder.
She is a Dragonborn (Pg. 8) Paladin with the Draconic racial template (Pg. 70).
Adapting dragonborn into pathfinder is easy, we're just gonna add +2 CHA to their racial traits and leave it at that.
The difficulty is adding the racial template. Since pathfinder doesn't use LA, would it be best to simply apply set levels at which you gain the template's benefits (like 3, 6, 9?), or do something else entirely?
She also possesses the Dragon Tail feat and eventually the Dragon Breath feat too (Pg. 98). I don't see any problem with adding it into pathfinder, but i've never been very good at seeing balance issues...
Thanks in advance for your help!

The way it reads each part represents a different template. I would look at the half-dragon temp in the bestiary and then go from their. Their Technically substitution levels...
I would personally just multi-class into sorcerer take the Draconic bloodline and then eventually take dragon disciple. I do wonder though why your taking the draconic template when your already a dragonborn? that's like a dragon taking the half dragon template...
Anyway you could technically do it like you did last time in the 3.5 book just convert what needs converting and go from their (any skills, feats, or anything else that might have changed.) looking at it - spot for perception and that's about it. I would however suggest your DM look it over because it still looks rather powerful... then again i dont see any HD or skills gained from those levels so *shrug*

Well, the only real differances between 3.5 half-dragons and PF half-dragons are that the PF version has +4 CON, wings for medium creatures and a (effectively) useless breath weapon for PCs.
Well, as the draconic racial template normally allows you to take the (Normally LA +3) half dragon template by 'exchanging' class levels for LAs, and then use the LA buyoff option where at certain levels i 'pay' for the bonuses with EXP, leaving me a little behind in power for a while but eventually coming back up to par. However, PF doesn't really seem to like EXP costs either...
Also i understand that Dragon Disciple is technically an option, but i want to stay a pure paladin, and DD is simply too big a diversion to gain something which in 3.5 was so simple to do...
Also, just in case it's important, My character had a bit of silver dragonblood in her before she became dragonborn, and after her rebirth her latent heritage began to develop.
