Simulacrum & various anti-magic effects

Rules Questions

Will anti-magic field or mage's disjunction destroy a simulacrum? How about dispel magic?

Grand Lodge

No, to all of those. Simulacrum is an instantaneous spell whose effect is to make a creature - in fact, as clarified earlier, a creature of the same type as the original. Mage's disjunction doesn't kill humanoids, so it won't kill a simulacrum of a humanoid either.

I'd say it might suppress or dispel the illusion surrounding the simulacrum, but that would be the only effect.
