Stumble Gap (& grease) and forced movement

Just wondering if you force a person to move through the area affected by a grease or stumble gap spell with an effect like bullrush, reposition, or perhaps telekinesis, would they then be subject to the tripping effect of the spell in that area?

On a side note, isn't it strange that stumble gap, which has a lesser effect/versatility then grease has a smaller area of effect?

Absolutely, combination moves have a rich history in the game.

As for your side point, grease is arguably the best first level spell in the game so the fact that other spells aren't as good isn't a surprise... though re-reading it I almost think it should have been either made a bit better or redone as a cantrip with slightly less effect.
