Antipaladin: PFRPG Death Knight?

Homebrew and House Rules

I bet I'll get some negative feedback from this, but really its just an observation.

Any way, here it goes, if you maybe added some abilities and changed the fluff you could easily turn the antipaladin into a death knight from WOW.

Not much in the way of being undead or frost-related stuff in the Antipaladin to be honest.

Pathfinder Graveknight is far more Death-knighte-ly.

True, but I'm sure if anyone wanted to, they could add those aspects (some how) with out making it to OP.

I made a Death Knight base class awhile ago, never got to playtest it I'm afraid. I'll go look for it and post it up on Google Docs so you can take a look.

So.... apparently I can't edit my posts? Hrm. Maybe there is a time limit or something. I apologize in advance for the double-post.

I found the DK that I made, it looked better when I first finished it than it does now. No class features to speak of except for a scaling magic weapon, a pet, and an infinite resource pseudo magic/blade magic thingie meant to simulate their in-game skills.

Feel free to tear it apart while I go try and make it better, in it's current incarnation all I know is it isn't balanced with Pathfinder at all. You can get the .doc file from Megaupload.

Here.

Agreed. I'm actually kind of surprised the Graveknight didn't make it into the new Bestiary ...

Well, the monster cutoff was set on the first part of LoF, so CoT stuff didn't make it. But he better be in Bestiary 3 ! :)

Well I just now got the file. I'll look over it when I can. Right now I'm working on making the Fell Caller, from Iron Kingdoms, into a PrC for Pathfinder.

No need to rush yourself, just throwing out my two c on the whole "DK" situation.

I used a skeletal champion antipaladin in the game i ran last night as the BBEG of a revamped A Dark and Stormy Knight adventure for 4 level 2 characters. With a few tweaks (level him up and maybe give him sacred servant ice or fire domain)i think he would make a suitable "Death Knight" style monster i'll post his stats in a spoiler :)
