My wife is currently battling Cancer and I need your help.

This is a fundraiser we are doing for my wife, I know in these economic times its hard to donate if you cannot donate that is ok with me just put this webpage out there through your twitter facebook myspace or any other way you think people would see it

http://www.giveforward.com/forkyla.

Thank you for whatever you can do for my family in this time of need

I'll be praying for your wife and your family.

Its the least I could do, and I hope with everyone's continued generosity it will be one less thing you and your wife will need to worry about.

Joey, a few of my friends on Facebook were wondering if you had made a CaringBridge account. They have both gone through similar trials, and they have said it was a very helpful thing to do.

I don't know if she has looked at it lately, but I sent you wife a friend request on myspace.

Going to be donating on payday myself, I know how hard and expensive of a fight this can be and if we can help take some of the financial stress off you two then it will let you focus on whats important.

I disappeared off these forums for about 6 or 7 months last year because I was dealing with complications that had arisen from treatment for lymphoma. I really understand the frustration of having a misdiagnosis, the first few months of last year I was living off ensure and smoothies because I couldn't swallow anything solid and the doctors all thought it was allergies or sinus issues or something irritating my throat. Took two months of going in twice a week for them to realize it was cancerous.

Explore your options, get as many extra doctor's opinions as you can and educate yourself as best you can about what you two are up against. The fight is different for everyone(so I learned from talking to other patients) and its a tough one, but it is definitely one you can win.

I wish you all the best in having her recovery be as speedy and smooth as possible.

I just wanted to check back in and say that I'm glad to see that more people donating. I'm praying that even more do so.

Thanks for everything you guys are doing I just wish I could get more people to see this.

I'll be donating come next payday. Bookmarked the page and I'll also be posting the link up on my Facebook, a few other sites, and trying to get buddies of mine from work to donate.

I have donated some money. I just wish it could be more.

Thank you all very much.
We got some great news from a scan last week the mets on the bones are pretty much all gone and the two in her lungs have shrank to half their largest size and are mostly dead, but the one in her hip is still active.

Outstanding! Glad to hear it.

Update on my wife

We went to Reno Yesterday to see our specialist, so we have a plan for her treatments she will go to Reno on the 24th for three weeks of treatments. She will be getting chemo and homeopathic treatments each week. Then for the next three months we will have to go to Reno once a week for more treatments after these four months our Dr. thinks Kyla can be free of signs disease

Like 4 people at my work today sent me this her grandma got us a house keeper and she is doing so well on the new treatments that she really doesnt want the help

Silver Crusade

Tell her to take it easy anyway. :) Really happy to hear the postive news, Joey.

Yeah she was doing Yard Work and Keeping our pool cleaned cause she enjoys that but the new doctors told her not to work so hard, she was not happy LOL

That's outstanding, Joey. Glad to hear she is doing so well. Chemo can really knock the stuffing out of ya (depending on the type), so a service like this can be a real lifesaver. But if you don't need it, all the better!

You guys are in my thoughts.

Just bumping this. Right now the fund raiser is at 10% of the goal. Its a great cause for a fellow gamer's wife.

Wish I had known about this before :(, I could have sent some of this months donation money this way instead of another cause I donated to.

Well next chance I get this will be on my to-do list. I did post a tweet, and will facebook it in a few days.

Best wishes!
