Ok so, Looking for a Paladin archer build. No 3rd Party books, 25 point buy. Just looking for a general idea of where to go with it as I have not played a paladin before, but thought an archer might be kinda nifty.
It seems that the paladin is similar to the monk in that multiclassing or prestige classes seem not very good. Am I wrong?
The campaign is in a slightly updated Rappan Athuk (no spoilers please), but I assume there are lots of evil things.
The rest of the party consists of a melee rogue/ranger, magus, and a battle cleric.
So far:
Elf with the Lightbringer Alternate racial trait.
STR 12
DEX 17
CON 12
INT 14
WIS 12
CHA 15
Looking at taking PBS, Prec Shot, Imp Prec Shot, Manyshot and Rapid shot.
Any other feats recommended?
Is stabbing shot worth it?
Any Archtypes I should consider?
Think I should switch up my stats any?

Sacred Servants are great; they generally lose very little and gain a domain and at 7th an extra smite; I generally recommend them.
You should have 14 Str; Deadly Aim ups damage a lot. If you don't mind wisdom dump:
Str: 14
Int: 11
Wis: 7
Dex: 18
Con: 12
Chr: 16
Unless you just want to be an elf, human or halfling would be better; and technically, you'd be better off above dumping Int as well. Human gets an extra feat (Precise early); halfling trades little for +2 Cha and +1 to hit (the latter will be made up by the Deadly Aim).

Deadly Aim is a must have feat for an archer as well. Generally a paladin archer does well because of smite and being able to open with a full attack. As you are likely to be hanging back, I would suggest Hospitaler would be useful as your cleric may not be into doing much healing ...

Ok so, Looking for a Paladin archer build. No 3rd Party books, 25 point buy.
Halfling Paladin
STR 10 (12-2racial) 2ptsINT 07 (07) -4pts
WIS 07 (07) -4pts
DEX 18 (16+2 racial) 10pts
CON 14 (14) 5pts
CHA 19 (17+2 racial) 13pts
Leaves 3 creation pts, you could spend them to increase STR to 12. Stat bumps to CHA.
Skill: stealth (max ranks)
Alternate Racial: no penalty to stealth for movement
Traits: make stealth a class skill, other salt to taste (lessen ACP, heirloom weapon, or bonus init)
Feats:
PBS, Precise Shot, Rapid Shot, Deadly Aim, Manyshot, Improved Precise Shot
will take you to 11th level.
One thing you'll want to do is take shield other for one of the melee PCs that you like. Your swift action lay on hands for yourself will work to power the damage you take from it. Helps spread out the damage for real channel energy healings.
You could also plug in your skill for ride as you'll want to be mounted at times.
It's not that great a build, but it will work in a pinch for you,

Why go with Precise Shot?
Why not just: PBS, Rapid Shot, Deadly Aim?
The case against:
- feat drain
- always seem to be ranged targets to choose from
- by the time you are down to one opponent to focus on, the battle is nearly won so just wade in with a sword.
- with enough bonuses, why not just take the -4 penalty? With Smite Evil, it wouldn't be that tough a shot.
Just asking because going through the exhaustive list of Archery feats leaves room for little else.

Without giving you a specific build, there is the Divine Hunter archetype. I've used it for an Aasimar paladin/gunslinger build, and it saved on a few dead feats (mainly Point Blank Shot). It may not work so well for a multi-shot Archery paladin, but worth considering anyway.

This is ridiculous thread necro, it's been four years man so no one from the original thread will likely see this. To answer Tristan27 (necrOP) you take PBS because archery is superior to melee once you're already blowing several feats on it, and paladins in particular have no room to do both melee and archery. There will not always be unengaged targets, and a -4 to hit is on top of the +4 to AC cover provides. Do some reading on archery and you will understand why.
I'd only recommend an oath of vengeance paladin. The Divine hunter gives up a ton of stuff for essentially one bonus feat. I can do less damage to the build by simply taking a level of fighter.

lol, 4 years... you can't even raise dead that thread, that's some serious resurrection necro'ing
but if anyone looking at this actually wants to make a ranged pally (i'm assuming that's how it got necro'd in the first place), i think yogo is on the right track- make a musetouched aasimar paladin with a one level dip in mysterious stranger gunslinger. getting extra attacks is a little more costly (since you need rapid reload and alchemical cartridges), but making your attacks again touch AC will make precise shot a lot less necessary (and being able to add Cha to damage is pretty helpful too).
