I have been looking over the compatible games message boards off and on for while and I was wondering if there are any sci-fi pathfinder games out there. There appears to be one on the way from Avalon but that's about all I've come across. Any tips would be appreciated.
I'm loathe to mention _Cold Black_, because I don't know if it will convert to PFRPG and I know the folks at Sinister are working hand over fist on That Which Must Not Be Named.
But other than that, I don't know that there is one...the closest equivalent might be a PFRPG conversion of Fading Suns...oh, Fading Suns, I miss you. I don't know that Holistic is still around to do said conversion, but dang, it'd be cool. You might have to search the wayback machine for it, but there was also The Sleeping Imperium, which was a really detailed (and cool) d20 setting that I think the guy pulled to search for a book deal.

Thanks for the info!
as an aside Red Brick now has Fading Suns and is working on a third edition of the rules.

I'm assuming it won't be d20 mechanics?

No, they've said it will be their system:
RedBrick’s Fading Suns products will use the Victory Point System mechanics on which the game line was founded. James Flowers explained, “ While the demand for d20 products has been strong, we feel our resources are best spent focusing on the primary system. To that end, we will be actively working on the long-touted Third Edition of the Fading Suns game, smoothing out some of the mechanics and bringing previously published and new products into the line. However, we have a lot to do and our immediate focus is to get a couple of Second Edition products that are near completion published first.”
but I wonder if they'd license a PFRPG conversion? Ah, that would be beautiful.

Infinite Futures by Avalon Game Company is in production. It is supposed to be a PF compatible SciFi game. I am not sure about the company, though.

Dude, you're holding back on me! Why did you not divulge this gem to me sooner? Definitely have to keep an eye on this in January...which is just days away.

Wasn't holding back. Only found it a week ago. Everything by Avalon Games looks cheap, so I didn't really think too much of it and put it out of my mind until I saw this thread.

Yeah, after putting up my initial post (before previewing the free PDF), I agree with where you're coming from in regard to the 'feel'. If the price is right, I may check it out on its full release as it would give me a template to gather ideas from when putting together my own sci-fi homebrew.

Actually, that would be a good marketing move for Red Brick Limited, but doing so would effectively kill the "Victory Point" system.
