I know that it can be done on other forums (because I've done it) but is there anyway to set certain posters on ignore so I don't have to read their posts?
The posts in question don't violate the rules (afaik) but are just so asinine I would just as soon not read anything they say any more.
If they start threads, I can just not read it, but they still post in other threads and if it's a topic I'm interested in, it's harder to avoid their posts.
We don't currently have an ignore function, nor do we plan to implement one any time soon.
Having an ignore function means not everyone is seeing (or having) the same conversation, and encourages people to create sockpuppets, neither of which is something we want to encourage.
