Spells or items that project false alignments

Are their any methods Items or spells to mask ones alignment as a chosen alignment. Not undetectable but actually detectable as a false alignment.

Im aware master spies have feats that help aide this but besides form becoming a master spy is this possible?

There's a spell that causes detection of your alignment to actually detect someone else's. Don't remember the spell name off-hand, though. It's a mid-level spell or so, IIRC.

So could this be used to make a permanent item, possibly targeting like a lawful good item?

I think so, but you might need to make two objects.

1 for misdirection and 1 for a strong alignemnt. (example: A magic sphere made from a Lawful Good cleric. Then you could care the sphere in your pocket, and use a magic misdirection item, to direct the effect to the sphere.

Otherwise.... you will be picking an person or object at random, and a paladin or cleric will wonder why your alignment keeps changing all the time.
