Sub Domains

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

its probably a simple question but I was wondering if anyone knew.

are sub domains available for the other classes that get domains?

Druids i dont see why not because they get basically the exact same thing.

What about inquisitors though? they only get the powers so I am not sure.

just curious, it matters for a game I am in and I was hoping you all could help.

You can houserule it but no. They are cleric only, the other classes do not have access to them.

Actually I am sorry just looked it up on the FAQ, Sean says yes.

Humm they changed their mind then. As Jason or James IIRC said no after the book came out.

Quote?

I'll see if I can find it. But if it's in the FAQ they can then the quote is meaningless really.

Yeah I suppose that is true.

Thanks for your help though Seeker I appreciate it nonetheless.

Your welcome, I can't find the quote right now but it was Jason that said it at Gencon.

I really wish that FAQ was not so hidden.

Shadow Lodge

Im on my phone so I cant quote it, but it is under the product in the paizo store. There is a tab for FAQ.

Can druids, inquisitors, and other classes with access to domains take the subdomains listed in the cleric section of the APG?
Yes, as long as they follow the rules for subdomains on page 86. A character who does not worship a deity (such as some druids and paladins) may select any one subdomain appropriate to a domain available to his or her class. (SKR 10/12/10)

From the FAQ page on APG.
