Form of the dragon + resistance

Rules Questions

If a fire sorcerer turns into a type of dragon with vulnerability to fire but the sorcerer normally has some fire resistance, or fire immunity how does it all work out?

If he has immunity, it would override the dragon form's vulnerability. If he merely has resistance, then the resistance would be applied after the total damage plus vulnerability is calculated. For instance, you have fire resistance 10 and turn into a white dragon, then you get hit with a fireball that does 40 damage on the dice, you would do half again, for a total of 60 damage before resistance, so your character would take 50 damage from the fire. If you make your reflex save, then the initial damage would be reduced to 30, and your resistance would then apply to that, giving your character only 20 damage. At least, I think that's how it works.

That is what I was thinking, thank you for the quick response!
