When will this be? I have a carpool full of Houstonians to convince to make it there for the pre-con festivities.
I was about to say... Hey let me jump in that car!, but then I decided I would rather fly ;)

As the organizer of the Meet-and-Eat, this will always take place on the day before PaizoCon starts...typically on the Thursday.
Many people wanting to know when PaizoCon will be in 2011. I'm pretty sure it'll still be in June. Which weekend in June? Well, that is going to depend on hotel arrangements. I would expect an announcement in January 2011 here...that's when the last two announcements were released.
As for WHERE we'll have the Meet-and-Eat....the default is still the Crab Pot in Bellevue. Now, if the con moves to another place, and the Crab Pot is no longer "close by", then we may want to reconsider.
Rest assured, though, the Meet-and-Eat is a tradition that I would like see continued as long as we can. We have been getting about 20-25% of the PaizoCon attendees. As PaizoCon grows larger, so does the Meet-and-Eat. At some point, it's going to get too big. And then...I'll need to think of something.
Anyways....stay tuned!

Hey, Tim!
I have missed the awesome Tim Tour for the past two years, but this year I am arriving on Wednesday! Are you gonna do a tour on Thursday this year? I think I'm bringing about half a dozen friends with me--can you accomodate such a large group?
Paizocon--------WAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

At the Tour last year Tim expressed that would probably be his last year doing it. It started out just showing around a few out-of-town friends, and exploded into something much more. Tim, please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems he'd be happy to pass the torch to another local willing to host a Seattle Tour.
As far as the Meet and Eat dates, it seems we're looking at June 9th at the Crab Pot. Which is awesome, because the Crab Pot is delicious, and June 9th is my birthday. I'll be like having 200 birthday party guests! :)

I may. Future Unclear...Ask Later.

Yes, the first time, I just showed Hugo around. Last year, it was like 20 people. Maneuvering 20 people through the Market and downtown Seattle is sort of like herding cats. Plus, I had this nagging feeling that I wasn't giving a very good tour for all these people. If I do it again, I will probably adopt a schedule of places I will be during the day, and I will just point out to all our visitors the stuff that they MUST see. With or without me.

Awesome. I will be making the reservations even earlier this year, in hopes to get even MORE space.

Don't sell yourself short. I thought it was fantastic. And, part of the tour even served as the inspiration for something that'll appear in the Carrion Crown AP.
...and no, it wasn't running into Bulmahn at the most awesome mac n'cheese shop at the market. ;-)

Thanks, Neil!
I guess that I was discouraged by getting everyone to the Market early, and then finding out that we were an hour TOO early...so aimless wandering with 20+ people....ulp!
BUT, Early Bird parking....totally worth the effort to get there early!
;-)
Lunch at Ivar's rocked, too. Possibly a bit too fancy for lunch, but it gave us a chance to chat more.

Dude, it was awesome, I will be going back down to the market whether you give a tour or not. That said, I really hope you give another one. I gotta get some more of that brass pig action.

Actually....YES. Please sound off in the separate thread I just made, with the fact you will be attending, AND if you are representing more than yourself, how many.
If you are counting more than yourself, just make sure that those people don't come on here and post that they are attending as well.
