I was going to say "Well, why don't you check out the fey prank thread!" but I was clever enough to look for it first, and saw it'd been archived! Oh no!
I had one player who reacted violently to all the fey tricks...he became their favorite target. They were benign and generally friendly after one party member quickly recognized what was going on and made friends, but even their "help" was generally annoying. They would use pranks to wake up the party to avoid an ambush, for example.

Ooh, thanks! I was wondering why I didn't see such a thread because I knew I couldn't have been the first to ask this question.

The PCs started to be prime targets because a few of the PCs (out of 7 I might add) disrespected the forest by slaughtering animals needlessly; or never allowing animals that fled to get away, etc. The fey creatures found this as an affront - associated them with Breeg, and started to harrass them.
The first time that something went missing, the PCs doubled their "watch" efforts at night while in the woods.
One prank that I don't think was posted on the previous link that I started doing with great effect (much to the characters chagrin) was creating visual illusions w/ auditory components:
The illusion was that of several owls in the trees in or around where they were sleeping, that hooted loudly all night - keeping them from sleeping.
Finally the next night after being exhausted they could not stay awake any longer, and passed out - allowing them to steal all the tree cutting tools off of them.
The next night they did the same thing, and positioned the items under a tree branch with a wasp nest; as the PCs retrieve them, they severed the nest letting it fall on the happless (tired PCs).
Those owls were a real hoot! :-)
I'm sorry that was bad. They really made their heads spin......
