Swarms vs. Illusions

Rules Questions

We had a moment come up in our game the other day, which brought up a question. If you were to summon a swarm in the square that a person using Mirror Image is occupying would this dispel all the images. I know it doesn't with area effect spells (Like Fireball), but since all targets in a swarm take damage individually, would this get rid of the multiple images, just as if they had been attacked by say 8 individual tiny creatures?

Spells and effects that do not require an attack roll affect you normally and do not destroy any of your figments.

Therefore, swarms don't remove images and hit you automatically.

I understand that...but since once the swarm is summoned it is real and not a spell or effect, it still brings up questions for me. I know Fireball, Cone effects and such follow this rule, but this is a conjured creature not a spell effect.

Good question.... i would like to know the answer to this also.
