Large creatures and area of effect spells

Rules Questions

With a medium creature, it's pretty simple: if a spell effect covers at least half the square, the creature is affected. What happens with a large creature? Let's say a Fireball is cast that affects one out of the 4 squares of the creature. Is it still on the hook for whole or half damage? What about a huge creature with a fireball affecting 2 of its 9 squares?

If they are in the area (any part of them) then they get effected.
