The Witch's Vision Hex seems kind of pointless to me, seeing as it doesn't have any reference to how it behaves, it can just as easily show the Recipient eating dinner at a table as it can show them stopping the greatest evil deed ever.
Can you specify a Time for the vision to view to up to a year away?
Like could i say "I want the vision to show me next Oathday, sometime around 6 pm" and get the Corresponding vision?
I mean, I'm taking it cause my Witch is a fortune teller, so of course he'd be able to give you visions of your future, it just makes sense, character wise, But he's also a Priest of Urgathoa (Gluttony aspect TBH, his overarching life goal is to taste the 'flesh' (plant matter counts too) of every creature that has any) So the vision would be tainted by that of course, but it seems that my GM can just turn around and say "you are eating some non-descript food sometime next week" and leave me incapable of providing a new Vision for that person until the end of the next week....
All in all, it seems like the least reliable form of Divination available to a character, yet it's 100% accurate.
So is it the Unlimited Wish of Divination spells, prone to cruel GMs and nasty twisting of words?
thank you for your input.

It seems weak and subject to a vast amount of DMing.
It might work similar to the dream haunted trait from SCAP, or like you say it might be some mundane activity.....
I would use it cautiously for awhile and talk to your DM about how he/she sees it playing out in game (before selecting it for your PC).
I like the SCAP and the dream haunted, so a similar mechanic appeals to me, but yes some DMs might gloss over the whole thing.....
It is a great adventure hook (for any DM!)
Yes you are eating a non-descript dinner with a man you do not recognize, he has short black hair, sharp features and is wearing a red jacket adorned with awards and decorations......

yeah, I used it today to give us a Hint of what was needed to do to open a door in Shackled City, we had already spent a good 45minutes to an hour real time trying to figure the thing out.
so yeah, it's gonna just be prone to DM malevolence, though i asked to get a "ten minutes from now, what's going on?"the answer was feeding my scorpion a spell, /shrug/
