The HUB will soon have a D&D animated series...

Off-Topic Discussions

Mark my words: The HUB will soon have a D&D based animated series.

"The Hub, a collaboration between Hasbro Studios and Discovery Communications will launch on 10/10/10"

I hope it will be watchable.

Deltora Quest was on a few day ago. Mr. Fishy isn't sure if it was HUB.

Liberty's Edge

So far they're focusing on their core products: Transformers, GI Joe, My Little Pony, etc. They haven't announced anything for D&D, but I hope they do.

Mr. Fishy hopes they let someone who knows and cares about D&D be in charge of any D&D Cartoon/Movie. Transformers had to many people, not enough giant space robots kicking each others asses.

My little Pony? Sebastian will be happy. Stupid horse.
GI Joe the movie was pretty hyperactive. A new show would be nice too.

A MTG cartoon??? The insanity!

Ironically, the Transformers cartoon is based off the movie, while the GI Joe cartoon is not.

Mr. Fishy has looked in the the blackest pit of hell and was unshaken...Mr. Fishy looked upon the My Little Pony bill board and he did know terror.

That channel is a sleeping evil.

While it won't be on the HUB there is some good news. Avatar: the legend of Korra will be out in a year. Not only will it be a follow up 75 years after The last Airbender, but rumor has it that it will be chocked full of steam punk goodness!

that sounds cool.

I hope it's as equally as good. It's hard to imagine this new one to be just as awesome as the original. No Sokka, Katara, Toph, no Aang, no Uncle Iro(who was probably my favorite character). The list goes on. That was a good group of characters. Really think it's gonna be hard to match.

Sequels usually don't match how well the first ones do.

But I hope I'm wrong. :)

Uncle Iroh was my favorite character too. Toph and Zuko were tied for second. heck, i liked the entire cast as a whole.

same here, it just took me forever to actually like saka.

I dislike comic relief charecters in general and saka at first seemed to stupid to know how to breath with out kitara there to tell him. They did mature the charecter nicely and I didn't dislike him at the end.

I realise thats a style of anime, you always have to have the "plucky" comic releif, but it's not one I care for.

Zuko was the most awesome chaarecter from start to finish with toph a very close second.

Sadly it is set 75 years into the future and most if not all of those characters will only show up in flashbacks.

Except for Ang. He'll be an old, bitter man with no friends except his dog. However, he'll find a young person to take his place as he trains him to accept the mantle of heroism. It'll later turn out that the young person was cloned from Ang by a secretive organization in the Earth Empire.

Oh wait, that's a different show.
