I recently remembered this old gallery, from the early days of 3E. And now I wonder, given PF and the APG, how you would build some of those characters nowadays…

I just cringe at the thought that someone probably will suggest that He-Man is an alchemist/summoner…

He-man is a lion totem druid/barbarian with boon companion and a large tiger as his pet. He just chooses not to wildshape :P

He-man is a pally. He's got a holy sword and his summoned mount is flavored to transform out of a useless npc companion. However, you'd have to give him alternate class abilities that replaced healing and spells with improved strength abilities. Not impossible to do at all.

I'm having a hard time remembering what Teela could do. If she could do magic then probably a bard, but again I don't really remember.

Man-at-arms would be an artificer. That's really just the best fit.

Orko is a wildmage, only more wild than normal.

Eternia would be an awesome campaign world. Don't rewatch the series though, it loses nostalgia pretty quick.

Teela was a straight Fighter, I believe. Despite the fanfic that pairs her with EvilLynn. (ok, bad joke).

As the Sorceress was her mother, she will probably end up multiclassing at some point.

i think of he-man as a cavalier, or maybe pally

Definitely LG pally. And BattleCat is his mount, fer sure.

Skeletor has the lich template.

Beastman has the lycanthrope template.

Mossman has the plant type.

He-Man (Stupid name by the way, always thought so) : Shining Knight Paladin who traded Spellcasting and Lay-On-Hands for Improved Companion and limited shape-shift ability (for both himself and his mount).

Teela : Fighter with a single level dip into Sorcerer (Arcane bloodline). Toward the end of the series, she had started doing some minor magic. Teela is a Aasimar.

Orko : Orko's an Outsider who casts as if a Sorcerer of his HD. However, since he's an Outsider from the realm of Chaos, his magic rarely works the way he wants.

Battle Cat : Normal pygmy tiger until his Paladin uses his shapeshifting ability, at which point he turns into a Dire Tiger.

Man-at-Arms : Straight Fighter.

The Sorceress : She's an Outsider who casts magic as if a Wizardess of level equal to her HD. Despite her title, she is a wizardess as she has to study arcane magics at times to cast them.

Skeletor : Mage with the Lich template applied.

Evilynn : Evil wizardess.

Beastman : Shifter barbarian.
