Rules Questions

With its ability to remove fatigue does that mean he never needs to sleep or are we missing some rules. We spent 15 minutes arguing to no avail. Please help

There is not a good answer for you, unfortunately. Without clearly laid out rules for rest, sleep deprivation, and fatigue, your DM will have to come up with what he thinks is proper. Some on these boards have suggested that things like lesser restoration that remove fatigue should allow a days-worth of travel without another check, while others have said it should remove fatigue, but would not remove the need for rest, so any exertion would once again fatigue them. Those are the 2 "extremes" of the discussion (if I remember correctly). Good luck!

EDIT: Ninja-ing :P

Iffy problem, there are no detailed rules for lack of sleep so it comes down to whatever the DM states. Lack of rest will make you fatigued and the ability will remove that fatigue but if the DM says you need to sleep at some point, you need to sleep (short of having an ability or magic that specifically states removes that requirement).
