Ok, I need some good advice!
I will be starting a new campaign in a month or so and I need thoughts, comments and advice on Paizo’s various lower level adventures.
My plan is to run a few such adventures to start off, along with some homebrew stuff and I need to know which ones folks felt were the most fun, best written and designed etc. Obviously, I’m only going to be able to run one or two adventures from each level range, so I want to run the “best” ones from each level range.
A few criteria:
I will be placing these in a homebrew world, not Golorian, so the locations of the various adventures do not really matter much.
I did not include any of the Falcon's Hollow / Kolbold King modules because we already played through them.
I know a few of the Pathfinder Adventures I listed have not come out yet. I did that to be complete mostly.
So, please list the 1 or 2 adventures from each level range that you enjoyed the most and would recommend the highest.
Thanks!!!
Level 1 - 2
Crypt of the Everflame (PFRPG)
Master of the Fallen Fortress (PFRPG)
The Godsmouth Heresy (PFRPG)
Into the Haunted Forest (OGL)
Hangman's Noose (OGL)
Level 3 - 4
Masks of the Living God (PFRPG)
River into Darkness (OGL)
Flight of the Red Raven (OGL)
Level 5 - 6
Carrion Hill (PFRPG)
City of Golden Death (PFRPG)
From Shore to Sea (PFRPG)

I agree with Merrik though I would add
Level 1
Hangmans Noose - but to make it play well takes a bit of work on the GM's part but I think worth it.
Level 5
Carnival of Tears
Tower of the Last Baron
Really i liked all the level 5's you listed

Hmmm ... I seem to recall hearing good things about this one - I'll have to check it out.
DM, would you mind elaborating a little what kind of work you feel the GM would need to do?
Thanks!

It's been over a year since I ran it as a one off. I just remember with how the adventure worked, you kinda need to fine tune it to your group a bit and characters. Just to make sure it plays well. Or you can have a couple of spots where things might feel forced. I will take a look at it later and see if I can find my notes later.

After reading a number of different “What are the best Paizo Adventures” threads, including this one, I think I have more or less locked in on the adventures I plan to use for my upcoming homebrew campaign.
I did notice that there are pretty much no 3rd level adventures for some reason. My current thought is to come up with a homebrew 3rd level adventure to bridge from Crypt of the Everflame into Tower of the Last Baron and then scale Tower of the Last Baron back to work more in the 4th level range.
Pathfinder Module: Crypt of the Everflame (PFRPG)
An adventure for 1st-level characters
The young heroes of the town of Kassen are ready for their coming-of-age ceremony, an old tradition in which they retrieve a piece of the eternal flame burning in the tomb of the town’s founder. Yet when they arrive there, they find only the corpses of their fellow townsfolk, dead bandits, and mysterious animated skeletons. The novice heroes must brave the traps and perils of the Crypt of the Everflame, discover the source of the corruption that has awakened an ancient evil, and defeat a menace that seeks vengeance against Kassen and its people.
Crypt of the Everflame is a dungeon adventure for 1st-level characters, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world’s oldest RPG. The adventure map uses the same layout as the 2009 edition of Paizo’s GameMastery Flip-Mat: Dungeon. This adventure is set in the forested land of Nirmathas in the Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting, but can easily be set in any game world. It can be used on its own or combined with its sequels, Masks of the Living God and City of Golden Death to create an even greater campaign arc.
Pathfinder Module LB1: Tower of the Last Baron (OGL)
An infiltration adventure for 5th-level characters.
(NOTE: I plan to scale this one back to work for newly 4th level characters)
After years of neutrality, the honeyed tongues and diabolical gifts of devil-worshiping ambassadors from Cheliax have finally convinced Baron Vendikon of Andoran to pledge his allegiance to the enemy. Now, as the baron’s conflicted subjects hastily fortify his position and a reluctant Andoren general marches on the tiny town of Piren’s Bluff, a few brave souls must infiltrate the tyrant’s stronghold and put an end to his treason before one man’s arrogance costs hundreds of innocent lives.
Tower of the Last Baron is compatible with the world’s most popular roleplaying game. Within you’ll find information on the lively and strategically important town of Piren’s Bluff, Baron Vendikon’s keep, and the strange beasts and loyal minions that aid the turncoat noble, as well as notes governing the town’s many spies and dissidents.
This adventure, written by fan favorite Stephen S. Greer, is set on the border between two nations in the Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting, but can easily be set in any game world. It can be used on its own or combined with its sequel, Treasure of Chimera Cove, to create an even greater campaign arc.
Pathfinder Module: Carrion Hill (PFRPG)
A dark urban horror adventure for 5th-level Pathfinder Roleplaying Game characters.
The strange city of Carrion Hill has long loomed over the surrounding swamps in eastern Ustalav, yet its rulers have shifted many times through the centuries. Often enough that only a few sinister scholars and curious minds know the true nature of the hill’s original inhabitants—vile and depraved cultists of the Old Gods. Yet this morning, a dreadful recrudescence rises from the depths of buried nightmare in the vaults below Carrion Hill. A monster stalks the twisted alleys of the city, spreading panic before it and leaving destruction in its wake. Can the Carrion Hill Horror be stopped?
Carrion Hill is an adventure for 5th-level characters, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world’s oldest RPG. The adventure features a mix of urban and dungeon sites, and draws its inspiration from the popular writings of H. P. Lovecraft.
This adventure is set in the sinister country of Ustalav in the Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting, but can easily be adapted for any game world.
GameMastery Module J1: Entombed with the Pharaohs (OGL)
A journey adventure for 6th-level characters.
Now that the ruined pyramid tombs of the ancient emperor-gods of Osirion are finally open to exploration, the race is on to plumb their depths and rescue their priceless treasures.
Entombed with the Pharaohs is a desert adventure written by Michael Kortes that pits players against rival adventurers bent on getting to the treasure first as well as the vicious monsters and lethal traps set to stop them from their plunder. Ancient secrets and wealth beyond imagination await you in the pharaohs' tombs—will you be the first to find them?
The adventure includes information on the city of Sothis and the ancient tomb that lies nearby, as well as details on rival adventurers bent on getting to the treasure first.
Pathfinder Module: From Shore to Sea (PFRPG)
An aquatic dungeon adventure for 6th-level Pathfinder Roleplaying Game characters.
They Come from Beneath the Sea!
The deep waters of the Hellmouth Gulf have long concealed ancient mysteries, both wondrous and terrible. But these secrets have been submerged for too long, and the remote coastal village of Blackcove has accidentally awoken a slumbering horror from a bygone age. Strange creatures now venture from beneath the waves to steal townsfolk away in the dark of night.
Can the PCs discover the fate of Blackcove’s lost villagers? What secrets still lie hidden on the mysterious, ruined island just offshore, and what now lurks in the flooded temples beneath the isle? And what horrific fate lies in store for those unfortunate souls who fall prey to the island's eldritch influence?
From Shore to Sea is an adventure for 6th-level characters, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world’s oldest RPG, and produced in collaboration with the patrons of Open Design. Inside you’ll find villagers slowly succumbing to the ancestral taint in their blood, tentacled abominations from the deep, debased fish-men, ancient Azlanti technology, and a secret stretching back millennia to the legendary empire of Azlant itself.
This adventure is set along the mysterious Hellmouth Gulf coast in the diabolical empire of Cheliax in the Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting, but can be easily adapted for any game world.
Pathfinder Module: Realm of the Fellnight Queen (PFRPG)
A wilderness adventure for 7th-level Pathfinder Roleplaying Game characters.
Stay Out of the Woods
Deep in the forest, something is stirring. An evil fey sorcerer, cast out of the First World millennia ago by her own kin, has found a way to break through the ancient walls of her prison, and carries with her a vengeance too deep to be sated. For the quiet Andoren town of Bellis, busy celebrating a long-awaited marriage, it's a time for joy and laughter. Yet the forest that's always sheltered it is growing dark, and things are moving in the heart of the woods...
Realm of the Fellnight Queen is a wilderness adventure for 7th-level chararacters, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world's oldest RPG. Inside you'll find a possessed druid, a drunken treant, an insane beekeeper, shape-changing forest warriors, and the dark mistress of the Fellnight Realm herself.
This should pretty much cover the things up to about 7th - 8th level. From there, we'll see what comes next ...
Thoughts? Comments?
Thanks!

Not bad, so what are your plans for adventures for after these?
Good question ... not sure really. I mainly wanted to concentrate on locking in the first handful of modules.
I am going to be writing a planar adventure for a 3PP company soon and it will most likely be for level 9 - 10 or so. If it turns out well, I might make that the next one after Realm of the Fellnight Queen.
From there, who knows? I'll probably just do as I did here and pick from what everyone feels are the best adventures from levels 11 up.

My advice would be to run Return of the Fellnight Queen. A little something that's been brewing in my head for awhile now, but I haven't managed to convince anyone at Paizo to let me write yet. Heh. ;-)

"Masks of the Living God" is a third level adventure. Sequel to Crypt of the Everflame (1st), prequel to City of Golden Death (5th).

True.
As I mentioned though, I'm going to use these in a home brew world and I have no analog to Razmiran and the whole fake god thing so I figured it would not really fit without a LOT od reworking. Plus, I was looking for the adventured that people consistently listed as the BEST, highest rated adventures for the various levels and, unfortunately, Masks of the Living God didn't really get mentioned much ...
I think I'm probably going to stick with writing my own 3rd level "bridge" adventure like I mentioned before. :)

I have a spreadsheet of Paizo adventures by level, so if you ever need me to quickly look something up, lemme know. :D
Could I get a copy of that list? I need a 3rd-4th level module (ideally PFRPG) other than "Masks of a Living God". I DM for 10,11 year olds (ah, parenting in the modern age), and they're not strong enough at role playing for that kind of adventure.
That sort of list really could really shine as part of a website--Imagine a wizard that recommends you PF/Gamemastery modules based on you're preferences and needs.
