I'm free that weekend. Any chance of getting all four parts of Echoes of the Everwar added to the roster? If not, add me to the GM list for all five slots.

Go ahead and choose your scenarios to GM from the schedule. So far only Kyle has chosen to run the Heresy of Man series, so everything else is open.

I'll be there!

I would like to attend, but suspect that we will be celebrating Canadian Christmas that weekend.

Oh wait, that might just be a Shackleton thing...

The Exchange 5/5

WinterCon apparently had some website issues and had to change host locations. Their new website is here.

The Pathfinder Society scenarios are not posted on their schedule yet, but I did received an e-mail from the organizers that my event submissions have been accepted. There is no pre-registration for this convention. You show up, pay for your badge and sign up on a sheet to reserve your seat. There are lots of PFS events going in each slot so come on over to Oakland University and play with us on December 3 & 4. I hope to see you there!

Liberty's Edge

I debated between ATLANTA COMIC CON and this on the 3rd and 4th.

It looks like nothing my level (11th) is going to happen at ATLANTA COMIC CON.

What is the chance of pickup games not listed?

I only have these unplayed in the 7-11 range.
26 Lost at Bitter End 7th to 11th (Tiers: 7-8 and 10-11)
36 Echoes of the Everwar, Pt I Prisoner of Skull Hill 7th to 11th (Tiers: 7-8 and 10-11)
40 Hall of Drunken Heroes 7th to 11th (Tiers: 7-8 and 10-11)
42 Echoes of the Everwar-Pt II Watcher of Ages 7th to 11th (Tiers: 7-8 and 10-11)
44 Echoes of the Everwar-Pt III Terror at Whistledown 7th to 11th (Tiers: 7-8 and 10-11)
53 Echoes of the Everwar-Pt IV The Faithless Dead 7th to 11th (Tiers: 7-8, and 10-11)
2-10Fury of the Fiend 7th to 11th (Tiers: 7-8, and 10-11)

I also haven't played #55, #2-06, #2-09 but they are Level 5-9.

Everything else (except 12th) I've played, sadly.

The Exchange 5/5

James, with this being a local convention the primary goal is new player recruitment. I expect the scheduled tier 7-11s won't even go off and will be replaced by low tier scenarios when the tables muster. The chances of a pick-up game at tier 7-11 are not worth the trip. You are better off heading for Atlanta.

James, I am booked in all slots, and scheduled to run #16 & #31 on Friday. If either of those mid-tier mods does not go off, I would be willing to GM a pick-up high tier, unless Doug needs me to cover another table. If they do run, you can recruit players, and we can find a location, I can run an overnight slot.

James, we've got 55, 2-06, 2-09, and 2-10 scheduled and they all still have seats available at Atlanta Comic Con. We've also swapped 2-08 and 2-10 since we have a table ready to go with it on Friday evening. I will keep the above in mind for Catchup Con in February. We plan to run the entire Echoes of Everwar arc.

Nice catch Bob. It looks like they pulled a switcheroo and never told anyone. Also, it looks like they moved rooms without notifying anyone. I will double-check and get back here with some details on these last-minute changes.

The Exchange 5/5

Two short-notice changes to announce:

1.) The Friday time slots have been changed
The convention has been pushed back to a 4PM start, meaning the first slot is being compressed down to 3.5 hours (4pm-7:30pm) and the second slot will start 30 minutes later than previously posted (7:30pm-11:00pm)

FRIDAY AFTERNOON 4PM - 7:30PM
Pathfinder Society Introductory Scenario "Master of the Fallen Fortress"
Pathfinder Society Scenario #1 "Silent Tide"
Pathfinder Society Scenario #16 "To Scale the Dragon"

FRIDAY EVENING 7:30PM - 11PM
Pathfinder Society Scenario #2 "The Hydra's Fang Incident""
Pathfinder Society Scenario #5 "Mists of Mwangi"
Pathfinder Society Scenario #31 "Sniper in the Deep"

2.) On Friday the convention will be on the 2nd floor, southwest side of the Oakland Center (closer to Parking Lot P1)
On Saturday they will be in the traditional location, 1st floor north side of the Oakland Center (closer to Parking Lot P2)

Sorry about the short-notice changes!

The Exchange 5/5

So how was it? Details lol

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/5 ***

Awesome time. The convention organizers had us moving around which caused some confusion, but still had a good time. I think we had four tables in each slot (Doug can confirm) and roughly nine new players based on Doug handing out new PFS ID cards. I had the honor of Doug at my table for two games on Friday and a co-player for Heresy part III on Saturday. Heresy is wicked challenging, but fun too...despite the death of my paladin. At least he died heroically saving the life of another character. D*mn resurrection is expensive, lol. All in all another well organized convention. Thanks again to Doug for his efforts. And thanks to Kyle for only killing me once (he had numerous opportunities).

Oh, and Mike...time to get another ape. lol

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Yeah. The apes all took a beating all through the Heresy series. The next one is going be called "Henry the Eighth". When out in the woods recruiting a companion, I seem to be able to sell them on the fact that I provide a fast track for them becoming celestial apes. Low and behold, they really don't understand what that means until it is too late. As body guards, they are there to take the 83 hp crit. To date, six of the apes have prevented insta-death for a pathfinder. One failed in his protection of me. reverting and falling just after I died, and one fell to

Heresy III Spoiler:
Blasphemy! (roll 19 or 20, or die!)

Nethys will reward them for their sacrifice... maybe. Luckily, apes are not rare and endangered on Golarion.
